Where did you find the -5.5 line? Love ISU to cover that. Vegas must think McKay is likely out otherwise I don't see that line making too much sense I would've guessed it be closer to 2

What's the status on McKay? How can we make a prediction not knowing if he'll play?

I'm pumped for this game; we can win this game against a Top #5-10 team on the road - not many times in Cyclone history have we been in this position. A great resume builder for The Dance - and we are gonna need some help with seedings to go far.

They have some length and that has been a problem for us; also some road games we struggle making shots.

I suspect we'll play some zone again, like we did vs KU.

If McKay is 100% we can win. If not, we lose by >5

If McKay plays, we win. As someone else mentioned, playing against Niang for the first time isn't easy. I think he has a huge game. We're playing clean basketball, and A&M looks a little wild in the times I've seen them. If we stick to the pace we've been playing at and limit transition opportunities, our skill will come out on top.

We win with better free throw shooting, less turnovers, and mixing in some zone occasionally to disrupt their flow.

TA&M just lost to a 10 - 10 team. They are not invincible. What makes people think we can't take them down on the road? Did we not beat Oklahoma and Kansas? Additionally we are now playing "PhromBall". If you haven't noticed we are not just defeating teams - we've "dismantled" them piece by piece in a very controlled fashion. No reason we can't take "Hilton Magic" south with us. That's enough perspective for me.

The Clones are hungry and seem to have a sense of urgency, especially in the beginning of halves/games, that will serve them well in College Station Saturday. McKay will play and play well in a double digit victory over a top 5 team. My crystal ball is usually a bit rose colored normally, but I really do feel that the team has bought in and they will be dialed in for the remainder of the season. MVP Saturday will be Georges as he reasserts himself as a premier candidate for All-American.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I love how we're playing now and are actually building and maintaining leads instead of banking on a huge streak to come back from 15 down. It won't be a walk in the park, but I think we win this game by 4-7 points.

I don't think anyone is saying we can't go down there and get a win. Why are you so bent out of shape on the people that think we might lose a close one to a top 5 team on the road that is a very talented team with a lot of size? Not to mention very well coached. Getting a win down there is going to be harder than beating KU and OU at home. This shouldn't be a surprise.

Take into account of it being a place that none of ISU's players have played, that it's kind of an odd 'bump' in the regular schedule etc.

I won't be surprised if they get beat or even bad handedly, but I wouldn't be surprised if ISU wins either. ISU's been headed in the right direction after the Texas loss and I'm looking forward to seeing if that continues after this weekend.

This will be a fun test. Brand new team, new arena. Should hopefully prepare us a bit for the NCAA tournament. I like the clones in a close one.

I was really hoping aTm would pull out the win last night. I don't like the idea of facing them fresh off a loss - they'll be looking to "get right" against us.

I do think we've turned a bit of a corner and aren't struggling between Hoiball and Prohmball as much. If we bring the defensive intensity, I love our offense right now, I think we can win and I think we are the better team.

All that said, on the road, in a game that doesn't mean a whole lot, with McKay in question - I'll pick a 5 point loss. Sure hope I'm wrong. Having wins over 4 of the top 5 teams in the country (as rated this week) would be something I would guess would put us in very exclusive territory!

Not impressed w/ A&M or the SEC. We have played against tougher competition week in and week out vs what A&M has played. We are a tough team with or w/o McKay. ISU 79 A&M 70
