The attention this game is receiving again on this site and nationwide for the ESPY's is great and well deserved. The game was fantastic and I'm sure some fellow fanatics have some stories to share after Woody scored the winning TD so please share!

Here is mine:

I was in West Des Moines with the old lady because we didn't have anywhere to stay in Ames after the game. The bar was packed and the excitement escalated. One guy kept stopping by our table and talking to me about the game and throwing out high-fives. Cut to Woody's first bulldozing run in the 2OT and the place was jumping. The guy I was talking to was a few tables over. He ran towards me and jumped in my arms right after Woody scored the winning TD. I caught him and man-jump-hugged all while screaming with the entire bar. It was a special moment in ISU sports history and I will never forget it.

The Old Lady walked a few steps in front of me on the way home. She must have been embarrassed that I was chanting ISU at random cars that passed by and was still jumping around like a mad man. What an awesome game!

I was standing about 7 rows from the field with my face in my hands in the student section. I was tearing up pretty bad

I tripped down the stairs of jack trice trying to get to the field, as I was on the second level.

Weird thing was is that my buddy usually goes back out at half time to tailgate, but this time he stayed in.

I also predicted an upset to my girlfriend before the game.

ESPN showed the last few plays on the 2011 plays of the year last night.

I was watching the game on ESPN3 at my apartment by myself. When Woody scored, I yelled out and then cried in joy.

Similar story, except my wife also had an old HS friend from Minnesota visiting, so they got a nice long laugh out of me flipping out over the game.

I was home alone watching the game. I spilled my beverage all over the carpet somewhere in the first half, so I paused the DVR to clean it up. I had to pause it sometime in the second half to for some other reason that I don't remember. So, I'm like 15 minutes behind the whole game. People keep texting me and calling me with "Holy ****, did you see that" type comments. No. No, I didn't. I'm not live yet. I did get caught up by OT, so the ending wasn't ruined for me.

About 2 weeks before the game, my wife bought 2 early tickets to whatever Twilight movie was coming out that weekend. We would often humor eachother by going to "her movies" or "my movies" even though we knew they weren't really our cup of tea.

When she told me she got the tickets, I looked at her and basically told her, "Sorry, I know we usually go to movies with one another even if we know we won't like the movie, but ISU plays Oklahoma State that night. They will probably destroy us, but on the outside possibility that we actually beat them, I don't think that I could ever forgive you for dragging me to that ****** Twilight movie instead."

She went with a friend.
I watched the game at home by myself.
Woody goes in.
I go crazy.
Templeton Rye to celebrate.

The rest is history!

I was in Arizona with my grandmother. Missed the first quarter as we were out to eat. Turned the game on when we got home and was on my feet the entire over time. Running, yelling, jumping throughout her house. Freaked her dog out pretty bad.

Next day went to the airport to come home, wearing my ISU stuff of course. Tons of comments from people.

Nationwide excitement is cool.

Luckily my wife is awesome enough to have watched the whole game with me, and was jumping up and down in my living room with me at the end. We were worried we would wake the kids up but in all honesty, we really didn't care that much.

My story is pretty cool (shout out to my fiance):

We had scheduled our engagement pictures a while in advance for Saturday, Nov. 19th in CR at 10 AM. Once we realized this conflicted with our tailgating, I made the decision we would still go and just leave at halftime to get home at a good time.

Halftime rolls around and I ask her what she wants (keep in mind, at this point I am ready to argue with her that we are staying). She looks at me confused like, "Are you kidding me? We cannot leave this game." We stay and of course enjoyed the whole game and got down to the field afterwards.

We didn't get back to CR until about 1:30 AM, she slept most of the way. My favorite part is when we got home, ESPN was having the replay starting at 2 AM. You betch your *** I stayed up and watched it.

Surprisingly, I don't look too tired in the pictures, but I would do it all over again.

So my wife was really trying to get me to have a baby and before the season started asked if we beat OSU if we could have a baby...I said sure why not thinking it would never happen...In the stands everyone around me was chanting make that baby after the game.

We are expecting soon...

Did you make the baby on the field, or in the stands?

Now THAT would be a reaction!

I was almost bulldozed by a cop escorting coaches. My buddy hugged Barnett and I high fived him. Then we belted out sweet Caroline. Great night.

Stood in the front row of the student section (same spot for every game all four years) for the entire game. Had one leg over the cement wall as woody ran it in the endzone. Hit that beautiful grass running. The rest is history! It was my last home football game as a student at ISU and I can't imagine going out in a better fashion!

I went to jail :(
My highest high and my lowest low, a mere two hours apart.

You gotta love honesty and the effort!

I was there with my Hawkeye loving wife and four kids. To watch them all sing sweet caroline together and dance around will always be one of my top memories in life.

You must name the baby Woody, boy or girl.
