i was at work following the game on my phone. once the score was 24-7, i turned the game tracker off... then i while later i get a text saying "james white TD!!!!!" so i turned my game tracker back on. i went on break and found the game on the radio and noticed it was getting good, so i went back in and told my boss i had to leave because i wasnt feeling good, drove really fast to my mom's house since she lives close, and turned on the game. i think my mom and step-dad were getting ****** because i was jumping around and being really loud... especially after the big plays in overtime

I was at the game with my brother and my buddy who is a hawk fan that came to ISU. He had a blast. I'm slowly converting him to a Cyclone fan after that game and the basketball season we had.

I'm surprised at how few of us were actually at the game...

I was there too. I just remember high fiving every fan on my way to the field and cheering at the top of my lungs when woody crossed the goal line. Also, Jeff's pizza was epic right after the game. Everyone wanted pizza

I was there with my father, best friend, and brother-in-law. So glad my 80 year old father was there to see it. My buddy and I "rushed" the field. In the clips on ESPN (including last night) of the fans rushing the field, I was able to pick us out "running" out of the south endzone waving our "all in" towels. I wouldn't really call it running. We looked like we were in slow-mo compared to most.

I'm surprised at how few of us were actually at the game...

We had a couple of different conflicts that weekend that precluded us coming down from MN for the game. As the week wore on I started dropping hints to Mrs. Velo that I might go anyway. I left work early on Friday and tailgated for a couple of hours then went to the game. I took my 70+ year old mom since I had the extra ticket. At the end of the game I resisted the temptation to rush the field because of my mom. After taking it in for a few minutes I turned to her and asked her what she wanted to do. She asked me if we could go out on the field since she had never been out on it. I gladly agreed. We had a great time celebrating with about 50,000 of our closest friends. Of course after that I went back to the bus and tailgated for a couple of hours like we always do, win or lose.

Mrs. Velo was a pretty good sport about missing the game. I don't think she could be mad at me for going considering the result. I brought her back an "All in" towel. I still want to get my towel and game ticket framed.

I was standing in a crowded bar in Fort Pierre South Dakota jumping up and down screaming with hunters in town from OK and TX just starting at the TV. I was the only person there rooting for ISU and they knew I wasn't just rooting against OSU because I was dressed up in ISU apparel haha. It was amazing being the only Iowa Stater in a bar full of people from TX and OK.

A few highlights ...
Walking to the stadium in a group of people that included Cowboy fans who were very polite chatting it up. But they pretty much talked about bedlam. I mentioned that hopefully their team felt the same way.

The interception to the house was a real deflater ... we were going in for a score then it went the other way. ugh.

Starting the 4th Q and the general discussion among the fans in our general area that, "we'll see how the pokes handle the extra pressure."

The wheel route for the TD was awesome.

The INT, then of course the O-line and Woody completely taking charge.

I was one of the few who didn't rush the field but rather just stood back and took it all in. And yes ... I struggled to keep the tears from welling up.

The next day I had to get up early to drive to MN with my now fiance'. Listened to an XM College FB show (Dan Hawkins co-host) that talked about it for 3 hours straight -- included CPR and JB as interviews. The GF (at the time) wanted to change the station ... nope, sorry hon. Not that day.

Now, we need to be thankful when we continue to win. I never want to be part of an entitled fan base.

I was in the student section with a group of friends and like others have said, walking into the stadium you could just tell something was different. After OSU went up 24-7 one friend said, If OSU scores again we're going home. (hour and a half trip home and we had to be somewhere at 6 AM the next morning)

Then the comeback started and we all kinda started looking at each other like is this really happening? Then when Benton got the pick in OT we all went down to storm the field. (we kinda forgot one of our friends was in a brace from a torn acl but someone stayed with her i think)

It was awesome
