What options exist for out of state people without Mediacom? I am an Xfinity customer and Comcast Xfinity does not have the Longhorn Network as far as I can tell.

I do have WatchESPN access but I assume the LHN is not shown thru it?

If you dont get it, your only chance is to stream it third party, and there will obviously be quite a few links posted here on gameday. ISU needs to stop agreeing to the LHN and not allowing people outside the state to view it on Cy.TV. I get why they do it, but at least make it available to those who have annual memberships, and lock out the people who sign up for a monthly membership right before the game.

Some cable customers get Watch ESPN access even without getting LHN as a channel in their package. (I am in that lucky group) Others do not.

I get LHN material in Watch ESPN through my PlayStation Vue account. You can sign up for a free trial and use that on Saturday if you want.

Is Cyclones.tv access to the game only for Iowa IP addresses again?

I have seen that link, Chuck. Since it is an ESPN link, I am wondering if others have seen the LHN on their WatchESPN app. I have WatchESPN access via Xfinity.

So, does the LHN show up on WatchESPN?

You know for sure that if you have PS Vue you can watch the ISU-UT game via the WatchESPN app? I thought you had to be subscribed to LHN in order to get LHN content on WatchESPN.

I tested last week on a Texas volleyball match or something like that and yes, my Vue subscription let me watch live LHN content on Watch ESPN. Obviously I won't make any guarantees about Saturday but it did work for me. I have the middle-tier Vue package with ESPN, 2, U, and News included.

Nice! I have the same package so I'm pretty excited I will get the game then (even though we will have to gut out LHN announcers instead of having Blum and Sage). Chalk that up as another pro for PS Vue!

So you still have fans that want to watch your team that stinks and you find a way to not let them? Great marketing plan.

I guess that we will just spend our Saturday not watching the Cyclones lose like we usually do. They don't make it that easy to stay invested in this program.

Athletic department did send out an email to us today on coverage details.

If you are in the Twin Cities we have confirmed the game will be up at both Joe Senser's Sports Theater locations.

So what I am reading on this thread is I need to spend my money on a gaming system instead of cyclones.tv?
Pretty much. Amazing that ISU agrees to these games on LHN when there are so many hoops to jump just to watch it in Iowa. Every year they have done this arrangement there have been issues and I don't see this year being any different.

I have LHN on my cable system in SD, I checked the Watch ESPN schedule for Saturday and it is on the schedule for Saturday.

I think I will be able to watch it on Watch ESPN and it is usually HD quality feed. I am going to test other LHN product before Saturday and make sure it works.

Worst case I watch in SD.

Are there really that many ISU fans with cable systems other than Mediacom? Anyone with either DTV or Dish can get the game just as easily as their games on FS1. It seems we have these discussions every year. If you want to avoid missing games, you really need to have a satellite system. Cable systems outside of Mediacom in Iowa will have the occasional game that you can't get.

We don't live in Iowa and Dish sucks.

When I checked the schedule and clicked on "verify your access" on WatchESPN for the ISU @ Texas game, it redirects to a DirecTV login. The other ESPN games, when I do the same, ask for a cable provider. Not feeling great about this one.

So its two years later and if you live out of state you're faced with the same disaster. BTW, I live in the heart of SEC country and LHN is not available AT ANY PRICE on Spectrum cable.

So I am left with a subscription to cyclones.tv that doesn't buy me much in this case. Reduced to streaming the game via some bootleg website from Eastern Europe. Great. Thanks again Jamie.
