Please see the edit to my previous post - I said he was inconsistent. He's also been on the court for one year and about 10 games. I'm not making excuses - he needs to step up. I would hardly call him an NBA caliber player at this point, either. Saying he's talentless is classless and just foolish.

I was referring in general to CB. Not your post. I just wanted to clarify that not everyone was bowing down to CB after the UNI game.

In all fairness, it was the first two points you made that led to the third. Hopefully the players and coaches took notes on Iowa tonight: That is how you play defense in college ball.

Agree. When is the last time you've seen that kind of defense at ISU?

My patience is wearing thin. I've shut my mouth and will continue to do so, but I am getting extremely apathetic about this program. Sorry, but I am just not seeing much to hang my hat on at this point.

CB has scored six tonight.

Give him time; he's young. We're only ten games into his second season.

By the time he gets to be a senior with Coach Mac, he could be another Amare Stoudemire; that is if he doesn't leave ISU early for the NBA

DG is keeping it close with 16. No help from anyone else. No help. Will we break 60?

Doesn't help that Craig Brackins has been a bust relative to his recruiting rankings. But then again, maybe the coaching staff hasn't coached/developed him as they should.

Considering he was ranked higher than Blake Griffin, I would say there was a mess up on someones part.

Might as well let Chizik give the post game news conference telling us he took the Auburn job. I'd prefer to get it all over with at once.

Lickliter has obviously done a good job with this Iowa team. He quickly brought in talent and they looked extremely well coached tonight.

We will just have to wait and see where McDermott takes this team. I honestly believe he's got the talent to win some ballgames this year, now it's up to him to make it happen. I'm willing to give him a pass on tonight's game moreso than the Drake game. This could be a real wakeup call for these boys, or it could ruin them.

My vote is for the latter. No significant wins in three years will do that to you.

Floyd and Eustachy would talk defensive philosophy, rebounding, making more free-throws than the other team attempts, etc. Those teams started on the defensive end. I don't have a clue on Mac's philosophy. I don't know how to describe our team. Poor play is not penalized. CB would have been on the bench early if it was me.

How many times do you see when our shots go up that no one hits the boards? If no one penetrates on offense, we are easy to defend. When we do get it into CB, that's it .. he shoots and seldom is anyone even close for a rebound. Did we forget the concept of boxing out? Basic basketball concepts are not happening here folks!

Aren't you, like, 50? How about growing up? Nobody said any of that crap.
