There are lots of people I'd like to see "replaced" because they're not meeting expectations, the problem is replace them with who?

I have been really slow to get all over AA but he needs to go. Completely unacceptable for him to not hit a wide open receiver for the game tying TD. He hasn't made a clutch throw in his career. Has to be really frustrating for the rest of the guys on the team watch.

I say we convert to a "wildcat" offense with Money Reynolds and Tiller in the backfield. They are both extremely quick, and somewhat accurate. :jimlad:

But actually it would be pretty cool.

I'm tired of the dink and dunk offense we're running. It's tough to have drives of 80 yards when you zero big play ability.

Also, I guess a WR pushing off is legal now.

We were in the game and had a shot to tie at the end of the game. It wasn't anywhere nearly as bad as it could have been. Seems like we started slow last season. AA's fumble didn't lose the game for us. I don't remember AA being such a bad passer in the past. He is making questionable decisions, getting his passes blocked at the line. However, he is tough and put the team on his shoulders several times. I think that we need to put Tiller and ARob in the backfield and let Tiller pass.:spinny: Having said that... I wonder if A Rob can pass?!

Offense looks dazed and confused. Arnaud throws every pass like an 100 mph fastball. All the hype with Herman is a joke.

Defense is overmatched but I kind of expected that going into the year

Good things:
1. Mahoney looked very good.
2. Woody had a few nice runs.
3. Run defense was better in the 2nd half(still not great though).

Bad Things:
1. Run defense
2. Our offensive output while not bad, should be better with the experience we have at QB and RB. I don't think AA lost this game for ISU but he had his chances to win it
3. Penalties, too many and especially in the K State half of the field.

I still don't get how some people actually thought we could get 6 or 7 wins. You simply don't lose so many defensive starters from a unit that already was not very good to start with and end up with even a mediocre defense.

3-4 wins total this season.

UNI - hopefully
CU - maybe
KU - a big maybe, but only because its at home

Couldn't stop the run - check
2 offensive TD's in 2 weeks - check, with one being against third stringers

This is 2006 all over again. A green defense, a lot of talent returning on offense that just can't get in sync.

Our tackling is horrible.

This is true but our senior ladened offense needs to pick them up because we knew the D would/could struggle this year. They did enough to keep us in the game but our offense is freakin terrible. That starts with our quarterback. Missed wide open receivers, made more bad decisions, put the ball on the ground (I know the o-linemen missed a block but the QB has to protect the ball). Have to see if a change at QB can spark the offense.
