Well you called me an "idiot" and a "moron" for ripping on our lack of hustle and intensity on defense...so I just assumed you disagreed.

And yes, I realize A&M is better than us...and no, I didn't come into this game expecting to win...but I sure as heck expected us to play hard and smart, whether our shots dropped or not.

I think you've both agreed that the defense hasn't been good. Time to end this thing. Move on.

I expect them to play with the same effort and intensity on the defensive end that they always do...

We usually go into "crap parts" of the game, but they're hardly ever because of a lack of hustle, or intensity on defense like today...I can tolerate cold shooting, guys making tough shots against us, and an occasional brainfart on the court...what annoys the hell out of me, is when a guard drives past our guy, and then our other 4 guys stand and watch as he drives into the lane for an uncontested layup...this has happened multiple times today...

The defensive play of opposing guard driving past our guy while 4 guys stand and watch is defensive play #165. We only bring that out in the second half when we have them right where we want them.

Exactly our guards aren't really able to play too close out there or they get blown right by... soo..

give them a layup

I blame this game on the lack of defense rather than the lack of offense. We are actually playing not so bad on offense, not so much on defense though.

I guess I struggle to see why you took such offense to my initial post at halftime, if you don't disagree with me?

Do you think it's ok to not play hard and smart if the team you are playing against is already better than you? Do you think we're playing hard?

We did only start the second half 2-15 shooting.

We are bad all around today. I wouldnt waste time trying to figure out which aspect is worse.

I'll agree with you, 12. We've got no intensity, or interest, in defense.
I love it how the color announcer is incredulous that we don't get up in guys' faces during their shots. The "hand in the chest" defense on shooters is our trademark.
