Purdy wasn’t the answer either. He regressed so hard after his freshman year thanks to Manning, and never had a line in front of him. Until Manning and Jeff Myers go nothing will change

So many people were so ready for Purdy to run out of eligibility….
The hype we get from the local media is partially to blame for the disappointment.
Why weee we not undefeated last year then. We also had breece and Charlie. Players so good you don’t even need to say their last names and yet, not u defeated or even close

ISU fans wanted Purdy benched numerous times in his career here.... including last year. He wasn't anything that special here either folks. Do we need to show his highlight reel of all his boneheaded plays again? It's pretty long. I don't think we want to go down that road again do we?
This team has a TON more issues than just Dekkers. The offense is flat out a joke.... and it includes a LOT of issues.

We had the most talent in our history at 3/4th of the positions last year and still **** the bed. The problem goes 10x deeper than the QB.
The thing I hate the most is that people keep pointing to a dropped pass in 3-4 games as the reason we lost. But when those same teams were giving up 30-50 pts a game and we were limited to 10-14 pts with a lights out defense, that's masking 99% of the problems.
