Very fine profile by Rob. Myself, I'm guessing I'm one of a large multitude of Cyclone diehards who considered Daniel an extraordinary athlete from the moment he caught his first catch for ISU (or, maybe, not long after).

I've long thought Daniel a very quiet young man and, consequently, knew little about his personality, his drives or his goals. Did I miss articles about him in the past?

Rob G's story put color, for me, onto the monotone painting of who DJ is and wants to be. Daniel, I can only guess, has been through hell keeping his football desires alive. Manhood must have something to do with that; he is a veteran's veteran, isn't he?

Daniel, have a sensational season.

Noel had, and would be a RS senior if still around. Daniel and any other RS senior still on roster would be it, and I can't think of any besides him.

Upon scouring roster, I'd say the only other one who possibly could have would be Tyler Moore. Not sure how much if at all he played as a true Fr.

Do you mean Tyler Miller? Pretty sure he started in the Clemson game (Brock’s last).

Jackson caught passes from Brock in 20 and 21, if the ISU site is correct. That’s kind of a wild stat. @theshadow could probably correct me on that.

Don't know. I was assuming it was a knee injury of some sort. But again, I have no clue as to his injury last year.

No Tyler Moore, redshirt senior TE this upcoming season. No recorded stats in what would have been his only season with Brock, unsure if he logged any snaps
