I haven't seen it myself, but I have read a couple of favorable reviews. It seems to please someone out there.

iTunes released it last week or the week before so I gave in and bought it. I expected a little more jamming together but it was definitely awesome to hear how they come up with some of their sounds. I felt like Jack White came of pretty arrogant and really didn't fit in with the other two. Overall the movie was pretty sweet though. The last 30 minutes there's quite a bit of jamming. If you haven't seen it, I would rent it first if you can find it.

Thanks for the info. I understand the cross-generational thing and I am sure it will be good. How can it not be good with these three players? But if you are going to make a documentary like this, how can you not get the input from Eric Clapton, B.B. King, or Slash? After that I would have liked to heard the thoughts of Jeff Beck and Carlos Santana. Jimmy Page is solid and Jack White is fine for the new generation of guitar players, but I would like to have seen someone else other than Edge, even if it required a duplication of generations. Too many cooks spoil the soup, I get it, but I think the filmmakers may have left out a couple ingredients. This without having seen the film yet.
