This team is truly greater than the sum of it's parts. I'd argue that Lima, Montgomery, Lanning, or Lazard are all critical in these wins. Turns out Park wasn't essential to win like we all thought. As good as Cotton-Moya can be, it turns out he's not critical either but I think that's more a function of the coverages we're running now out of the 3-man front. If their was one piece though, I think it's Lima. Let's give some love to the corners and the other linebackers too who have just raised their game. Spears is going to give opposing teams nightmares going forward. I can't fathom where we would be if we could actually run block.

I was happy to see that the solid gold classic "It's a Love Thing" by the whispers was finally picked up by a television ad campaign.....I forget the product being forced fed the American tv gawker....but it was good and catchy. Anyway, always think of this when the colloquialism "It's a ____ Thang" is used. "It's a team thang, y'all wouldn't understand"
Mabye that should be out intro song. Better than Dire Straits.

The team appears to have totally bought in to what CNC has been preaching. Players and coaches look to be on the same page since Texas game. Stars shine, but teams win.

Well, things fell apart against Iowa when cotton moya left the game so i think he is pretty critical.

Were we playing this 3-man front against Iowa? Honestly I don't remember. I think we haven't seen much safety play highlighted lately because so many bodies are in coverage that opposing QB's aren't throwing deep. Tough to shine when the ball doesn't come into your sphere of influence.

He would have made plays, but Lanning was so new back then, too. Also, the change in scheme has helped.
