Pollard is the greatest thing to ever happen to ISU but not buying out the NDSU deal is just dumb. I heard his fodder on the home and homes with Toledo, Tulsa and that and it all makes sense but you have to play that nobody somewhere in the season.

Have you looked at our budget lately? It's not like we have cash just sitting around to be buying teams out. Bottom line, you gotta beat FCS teams.

Jamie Pollard has done an amazing job with facilities, marketing, donations, etc., etc.

Sadly, none of those contributions have done much of anything for on-field performance. Amazingly, it looks like he is going to get a 3rd shot at hiring a football coach.

CPR started out ok, but I don't remember two more embarassing season openers than our last two (in 45 years of following Cyclone football). I haven't given up on CPR yet but who wouldn't be worried about the condition of Cyclone football? But do you really trust JP to pick another coach? Chiz and GMac were disasters, CPR is looking shaky, and the jury is still waaaay out on KJ. We are soooo lucky that Fred wanted to come home because he's saving ISU sports right now. And what was the deal with no tribute or moment of silence for Curtis Bray and Hiawatha today? I got in the stadium about 10 minutes before kick-off, so if I missed it, I apologize, but if there was nothing done to remember those guys, that's inexcusable.
