She goes for 23 with 9 rebounds in a Cleveland State WIT win tonight. I was a huge Izzy fan when she was at Iowa State, so I am happy to see her do well at a lower level of play.

But I do feel sad for her situation. Cleveland State was hosting a tournament game and the arena was empty. Other than the teams and the cheer squads...I think that the arena had about 30-40 people in the seats. Very few people saw what she did tonight.

My daughter was in class with her and my daughter said she would act as though they were best friends.

That’s why we should be very happy about what ISU has going for it concerning fan support. I still remember my first game with a couple hundred in attendance. Other Big 12 schools struggle as well.

I loved that even though she quit the team she came to the senior night in the student section. Her and Diew had a really big hug.

I'm glad she found a level where she is dominating.

I'm as big a Zingaro fan as you'll find around here and she's still pretty soft. I watched most of last night's NIT game versus MonMOUTH (like HYZEE) and she spent a considerable amount of time on the deck, with a few tears shed. The difference is, now she gets that determined look and battles back - she has a beautiful step-thru move and is adept with both hands. Go Lady Vikings!!!
