This. Sucks. Really cheering for the guy, sad he feels scorned. Damn.
The team has reached out to Jacob since his second week gone and about 99% of what I've seen through social media, or on here has been positive.
At some point he needs to look in the mirror and realize that the only person who has imploded his career is himself.

It takes five positive comments to erase one negative. I think it's just a case of dwelling on the wrong things.
I wonder who he is listening to. Looked like he had some family at the Akron game. Leaving isn't the world's worst idea, but saying these things probably isn't best.

In interviews he always reminded me of the Cash Me Outside girl, but with a bigger arm.
I’ll know more Thursday but I know for a fact he was in communication with the staff.

From conversations I’ve had with others, this is the exact same attitude he had with players on the team. Never was his fault and was everyone else’s. Looks like that’s the same BS here blaming the fans and the team. No accountability or humility. Appears he still has some growing and maturing to do. Oh well.

Good luck to him at whatever mid-major he ends up at I suppose. It's not great optics to throw arguably the most loyal fanbase in the country under the bus in your pity party on the way out. If he thinks another fanbase will be better than ISUs was if he puts them in the same situation, he is sorely mistaken.
Even if there wasn't (which I'm not even sure how that's possible) it's a bad look to smear someone publicly like that.
I'm sure some of his dirty laundry will be aired out now that he's decided to throw the team and fan base under the bus. To be as blunt as possible, this is a classic case of addition by subtraction. This team will be better for his departure next year.
Not cool to throw shade on the way out. As I remember, this forum was almost unanimously supportive of him after his breakdown.
