Your first sentence is wrong according to him, read the article - he says we all turned on him.

I supported him through all this but after that statement good riddance.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to when I posted that. I read the article before posting. .

I wonder who he is listening to. Looked like he had some family at the Akron game. Leaving isn't the world's worst idea, but saying these things probably isn't best.

I like that he speaks his mind, but like it better when he was telling C Dubs that he wasn't viewing Iowa State as his last chance.

I know Lazard was quoted somewhere in the couple of weeks after JP was pulled that he was going to try to talk to him or something.

That's BS calling out the fanbase and coaches in the media with baseless accusations and known falsehoods. I haven't said anything bad about the guy, but he can EABOD with that crap. Have fun in 1-AA, or whatever the hell it is now.

This is the classic response of a guy that screwed up big time, saw his replacement have a ton of success, and jealousy enraged him. He's bitter and he's looking for excuses and scapegoats. It's hard to foresee a great future for this young man unfortunately.

I thought it was a health thing?

From conversations I’ve had with others, this is the exact same attitude he had with players on the team. Never was his fault and was everyone else’s. Looks like that’s the same BS here blaming the fans and the team. No accountability or humility. Appears he still has some growing and maturing to do. Oh well.

Good luck and best wishes, hope you get things figured out, Park.

Good luck to him at whatever mid-major he ends up at I suppose. It's not great optics to throw arguably the most loyal fanbase in the country under the bus in your pity party on the way out. If he thinks another fanbase will be better than ISUs was if he puts them in the same situation, he is sorely mistaken.

I'm sure some of his dirty laundry will be aired out now that he's decided to throw the team and fan base under the bus. To be as blunt as possible, this is a classic case of addition by subtraction. This team will be better for his departure next year.
