One game where he made a couple mistakes means he is a struggling QB? Man, in that case might as well start the back up linebackers and back up olineman. Should we bench Warren now because he had a bad game?
I would argue only having him run 12 times was more the problem.

Personally, I think our best chance to win games this year will be to throw to set up the run. I also don't think these slow developing read plays will work with an o-line that lacks experience and talent. So I want the best thrower back there, as the QB ability to run on those reads is basically a moot point.

If the best thrower is Park, then I want him there. If it's Lanning, him. Simple as that.

I like Lanning as a QB, but when the pressure is on he has not performed. He can get better and I expect him to but when it comes to plays like his final interception and the safety, that's 100% on him.

Not gonna bag on Lanning too much for the safety as it looked like two guys were sprinting at him untouched from his blindside, and he reacted as many qb's would by trying to run away, but he had no chance. The first int when we had the one point lead was by far his worst decision imo and a qb with his experience should have known not to make that throw. Hope he learns from it and soon.

It was a horrible play but Lanning should never have been put in that position. Warren had just ripped off a 6 yard run, 2nd and 4, with the lead trying to run out the clock. Inexperienced OC unless Lanning audibled to it.

He had a chance to Peyton manning it and eat the sack and live to fight another day. I think Park is probably heady enough to make that smarter play.

This is hilarious. Literally nobody has seen him play a single second of college football.

This just seems like a Rhoads QB move.

No it doesn't. Campbell clearly means that he wanted to put Park in at a time where the QB wasn't having to carry the whole load. There wasn't a point in that game where you could throw Park in and ask him to do a limited number of things. He would have had to come in and be able to do everything because it was taking everything. It's not even about scoring, it's about a situation where the QB is starting in a hole and the coaches didn't want to do that which is a smart move.

Conjecture, conjecture. No one knows how Park would have reacted in those situations. No one also knows if Park would have made the 3 TD throws as well either. I hate this QB carousel crap. Give Lanning a little more time. The biggest problem was the line if you want to point fingers at someone.

The fumble didn't show a lack of good decision making. The interception and fumble by Lanning did.

Warren needs to be smarter by holding onto the ball with both hands when he is going through the line with no hole. If you rewatch the play he had the ball in one arm, and was trying to squeeze through. Great effort, but got to value the ball more than that.

I don't understand why people feel like it's a good idea to stick with one QB ride or die even if he's sucking.

And "I'm sick of the QB carousel" isn't a good reason to not try to win football games even if that means playing 4 QB's in a game.

You have no proof that Park would give us a better chance of winning.

I am amazed at the number of people who didn't immediately look at that interception and think "someone didn't break off their route". There are many times in a game where a QB has to throw to a spot before a receiver makes a cut. If he waits until he sees the receiver make their cut it is too late; the defender has time to recover.

Yes, the safety and the last interception were bad, but when a QB has that much pressure they are bound to make some mistakes. Two DE's coming free at the QB is a no-win situation especially when your hot route receiver isn't ready for the ball. On the last INT he probably should have thrown it away, but the clock was ticking down and he had to take some chances to get something going. It was bad but I'm not going to fault him for trying to play to win rather than playing not to lose.

There is plenty of blame to pass around but of course everyone piles all of the blame on the QB.
