Yeah well that blue collar middle class dream is dead as dead. Just like in real life in college sports the rich just get richer. Smart having a coach who publicly stated that we shouldn't beat Texas in a post game press conference. Says a lot about the idea of just coming to work, having your boss scream at you and you just accept it because you were an under-recruited 3 star kid from Texas...know your place son, ISU has a spot is basically the message all you conservative douches rallied around behind Paul...and the "he was a nice guy" bit got so annoying. Thank goodness we've finally got a coach who believes in working SMARTER not HARDER.

Only question I have is are all you CPR lovers gonna go to the PRIDE celebration in Des Moines on June 11th?

You're a knob. I'm not going to get into the societal issue you also represent. Keep on harping on Rhoads. It will do a otn of good, I'm sure.

And you live in Estherville....hahahahahahahaha OMG I'm so sorry for the life choices that took you there, I suppose you love it there, is that little ski hill still around south of town? What's so wrong with the CPR blue collar analogy and translating that analogy to the fact that good honest American blue collar jobs are harder and harder to come by thus equating Paul's philosophy to an antiquated pile of rust. It's not my fault Paul was so inept at attracting talent to Ames, let alone being able to coach his way out of wins. Have a good time up there with the midgets!

Hilarious, already backing the new regime sight unseen eh. I'm sure you'll be bashing MC staff after they r gone too.

As much as you would like to make this a class struggle it isn't. Your surface perception of how the new staff is out working the old but it simply isn't true. The new staff is more visible with their efforts due to them embracing social media. The old staff worked just as hard.

There is a lot left to be desired with the old staff that you don't need to make up things to fit your narrative. There are encouraging things with this staff but with you already going all in shows your emotional sophistication as well as your rationality.

Oh, yes. That now makes all kinds of sense.
Nope afraid you're off...but keep guessing I'm sure that the Larch Hall CyFan class of 2012 will get to the bottom of it with some closely followed IP address sluething, I mean what else do you have to do?

I'm far from a CPR supporter, but you're crossing lines that weren't even drawn.
The man had quick success, ended up failing, and got fired. Move along. The guy you're challenging isn't even backing CPR.

Ha. My life choices were fine. I mean, I'm not at the age to grab my trophy wife just yet, but hopefully in about 10 years I will. Your general ignorance has lead you into quite the predicament here because as you bash my hometown you at the same time talk about how few blue collar jobs actually exist as I could find you roughly 100 in a pretty small area.

BTW-60 year old men using OMG is pathetic.

He won't move along. CPR, at some point, had the balls to not rub his back exactly right. Probably when he was supposed to hire Tony Franklin and didn't.

It's not sight unseen genius, the new staff already defeated the old staff with lesser facilities in a dump of a town (with the exception out Lou)...yeah sorry to interrupt your fantasy of my opinion with a fact...much like recruiting numbers

Yeah this staff doesn't talk about working hard probably. THe lengths people will go to to mock the previous staff is kind of sad.

Im not saying don't preach hard work...I'm just saying that using it as your primary sales pitch probably isn't the best way to get recruits to sign. Most football players understand that they're going to need to work hard and if they don't, they'll find out real quick.

I get that and agree...look someone else already said I can't and is trying to label me as some old poster who was banned.

Recruiting facts show a marginal difference in the player accolades right now. They are earlier but makeup is largely similar.

Yeah, I just don't think Campbell talking about attitude and effort is any different than what Rhoads or any other coach, for that matter, preach.

I just don't like the fact that it seems like for some people that whenever Campbell does something right, we have to point out how wrong Rhoads did it facts be damned.

Kinda like when a satellite salesman went to the postseason and was fired because of a fake scandal and boosters not liking the guy who didn't pat enough back or however you put it but a white Iowa guy who would "do it the right way" didn't and was beyond reproach from some of you.

I've found that typically the only people who talk like rea only do it to make themselves feel better about their lives ( see also: little man syndrome). With that in mind, his posts don't seem that bad
