What's their LB situation?

DeMeco Ryans has the starting spot decently locked up but the current back up at MLB is anything but a lock.

8 LBs listed on their most recent roster. I didn't follow the Eagles last season but I also do not remember hearing anything about their D being exceptional in any way shape or form either.

Wish it were the other Pennsylvania team. Steelers could use Knott as one of the inside guys in their 3-4.

Best of luck, Mr. Knott. Philly's getting a hell of a player

Has anyone heard a commentator or scout say where they think Knott would have been drafted if not for the injuries?

I think that's a given. If his shoulder holds up he'll have a career just as good or better than a lot of the mid round guys.

What a teaser! As a lifelong Chiefs fan, I was really hoping Jake would land there. So I sign in to Bob Gretz website, and there is a picture of Jake, with the announcment that he signed with Chiefs. Like most things with the Chiefs, disappointing.

How does it work after the draft in picking up players. Could Jake pick the team he wanted to sign with?

BigLame, the Beagle spirit squad will help you turn to the green side for game day:

Philadelphia Eagles | Cheerleaders

... or any day for that matter!

Tank had better take note of that link - he is the resident Cheerleader expert on CF
Damn, there was a smorgasbord of hotties on there.

If Knott doesn't hang on with the Eagles (doubt that happens, but you never know in the NFL), he can just head west & catch on that way with Pittsburgh. Harrison moved around a couple times before finally locking in a spot.

No matter what, just want the best for JK.

He could play on the weak side in a 4-3 at times too depending on scheme. In a zone scheme he would be fine. Man, perhaps not so much, just like most pure linebackers. That's why you see some undersized guys there nowadays. I don't really know why everyone makes a big deal out of 4-3 vs. 3-4. The personnel is pretty similar except your rush end is standing and you likely have a 3-tech type at one or even both ends. Your NT is the same guy and your linebackers are similar. As far as LBers, you just would prefer that rushing LBer to be able to drop or cover the flat and even in the NFL, it's hard to find guys who can do that consistently.
