What a teaser! As a lifelong Chiefs fan, I was really hoping Jake would land there. So I sign in to Bob Gretz website, and there is a picture of Jake, with the announcment that he signed with Chiefs. Like most things with the Chiefs, disappointing.

I'm with you on that one I've looking for a reason to root for the chiefs again for a while and I'm struggling to come up with one.

nfl.com says "IOWA LB Jake Knott signed with Eagles" Undrafted free-agent contracts for all 32 NFL teams - NFL.com

They fail on multiple fronts. In addition to the Iowa thing (and I didn't even scroll down to see that) I won't even read through that as they are missing a TON of Bengals UDFAs (Tyrone Goard, WR; Quinn Sharp, p; Jayson Dimanche, OLB; Bruce Taylor, LB; Roy Roundtree, WR; Troy Stoudemeire, CB; Larry Black, DL; Terrance Bown, CB; Jordan Cambell, OLB; and Travis Chappelear, DE.)

As with every company there are always slackers that slip through the cracks due to connections, or good interviewing skills. The difference is, MOST companies fire those people when they are incompetent... doesn't necessarily happen at NFL.com apparently.

This quote from the NFL.com article says it all "This will be updated as transactions officially occur or are reported by news outlets." Basically, when someone else does our job we will post this.

Yep, just a bunch of low-life slackers there. Probably a disgruntled hokeye fan that got fired from McDonalds and now works for NFL.com.

Did you really expect the Chiefs to do anything good on personnel front? Look what they have done in the last 18 months.

Welcome to Philly! Great city and the fans love a guy that plays with heart. He will find success with the Eagles. I think Sims is still with the Eagles(2 Former players on the Eagles).

This is eerie. I was just reading their message board last night since that had that great draft, and everyone was lamenting no outside lb taken. Had a strange feeling as i read that, that Knott was their guy and almost created a account and posted that last night. With their draft and talent they already have, i am becoming a fan.

Only one person brought up David Sims? Yeah, he's on the Eagles and he has signed a contract for next year I believe. If Knott works hard enough and Sims continues, the Eagles could have two ISU players on their defensive squad.
