We don't know if he's even playing yet. And I also kinda forgot about him like 14 times already this offseason

Hinson actually played quite a bit.. 23.9 mpg his freshman year and 31.1 his sophomore year. Averaged 9.1 ppg in those two years at Ole Miss.

Well the slate couldn't be much cleaner, so TJ's results will be his own. I'll still be disappointed if the 21-22 season team isn't around .500.
I feel like this is tj and pollard fixing a 5 year plan to be friends lol. Get rid of everybody and who cares after. Filthy rich

Seems wise to have very very low expectations, this isn’t about next year. I’m ok with any 1 year guy leaving from a 2-22 team.
I liked JCL and was hoping he would stay, but the reality is he was going to be a one year rental. Now we got some minutes we can offer a young talented transfer.

I have thought to myself, so if I were the new coach for this team that won 2 games last year, what would I be doing to assemble a team for next year? And really, I can't even imagine.
You have to convince the young men on the team that you will get things turned around. Not something you can "prove", but just something you have to "sell." Then you have to convince new players to come join you. Yes, come join our 2-win team instead of going to one of 300 other teams with a better record. So, I'm thankful for anyone who stays and anyone who joins us. We have nothing to offer them other than playing time and a commitment from the coaches and fans to rediscover the Magic. Go Cyclones!

If I was a coach taking over a team that was 2-22 and saw 2,000 players available in the transfer portal with a chance to completely start from scratch with guys that fit my system and coaching style, I'd do it too. He's still got a core of guys he's committed too: Hinson, Conditt, Foster, Hunter, etc... Gotta trust the process.
