Hassel has turned into a non-stop troll. He can't wait to jump on anything CW says about ISU. He refuses to give honest discussion about ISU topics. He's an insecure bully who needs someone to pop him.
Popped him! There, feel better?

I do!

Came looking for Stansbury news....
You'll get me whining, and you'll like it.

But it sounds like Stansbury quickly moved on from the K State Rivals gig. Other than that, just more speculation about a young dude figuring out life.

I like Miller and Hassel on IE pods. Nothing will ever top CW Blum pods but TGNC is easily #2. We just got through the offseason so of course the last month or two shows haven't been great for sports talk. Tough talking two hours a week about Iowa sports when there are no Iowa sports.

I find local sports talk to be one sided or ISU side takes the high road while the DB otherside does their thing. Turn on spotify and listen to a good song or talk to your kid or spouse. Local sport radio is over rated since I gave it a try.

The over the top smack talk has only come recently. I noticed it on Twitter and then it's started to spill into the show. I really enjoyed their reasoned rivalry takes when the show began. But at some point recent;y, it's felt like Hassel is either bored or made the conscious decision to ramp up the smack for engagement.

I enjoy the show. I can also ***** about one of the hosts. I stopped listening for most of the summer, but started back in once football season was approaching. Only to find that Hassel can't give a legitimate take on the ISU QB situation after CW gives 10 good minutes on McNamara. It then devolves into "You Iowa State fans..."
This. I respect Chris, but Hassel and before him Ross Peterson on KXNO would show little or no interest on ISU, while Chris could do deep dives on Iowa. It was belittling, condescending and hard to listen too.

I don’t take that as a slight at ISU but more that you can tell Chris takes control because he has more skin in the game.

Give us some quotes of "over the top smack talk" so we can appropriately ridicule you for being charmin soft.

But at this point what is he supposed to say about two qbs no one knows anything about? That will probably change after today.

Since this is turning into a critique of CF pod content, I love the new FART cast & content. But maybe it's time to rename it. I'd laugh at the gastronomical jokes if I was 9 but it's cringy. Especially with up & coming professional Colin Newell on board. Maybe it's time to graduate junior high, Guys?

He said CF was paying him about 30K a year...if that is higher than his actual market value is it might be time to try something else.

That's not accurate. He was making more than that. I won't comment anymore
