Bain says Nunn had a committable Kansas offer

That should help some fans get excited about Nunn's potential. No matter the offers, the staff likes him and from the few video's I've seen I think his game should translate early.
Though as with all recruiting news from Bain I do take it with a grain of salt. I'll be keenly awaiting the recruiting updates and see where he settles in the ranks.

I feel like I’ve seen a few people share the same opinion on Bain. I know nothing about him. Is he not necessarily a trustworthy source?

Idk how this kid will end up but I think with he and Hunter, we have some guys with a little bit of attitude. Hunter looks like he chirps a bit and plays with a **** you, here I come type of attitude, attacking the rim and playing downhill, something we lack currently. I like our guys but we haven't had a player that other teams fans hated in awhile. He was an extreme version but Lard is about the only guy Prohm has brought in that played with that kind of edge.
I think had THT and/or Wigginton stuck around they would have fit that bill.

Nothing against Bain but his sources are usually just ISU/Iowa/Drake Staff adjacent and he is writing to the local audiance thus puts a postive spin on his info. He often lists priority prospects that are out of date and predicts potential commitments that don't come true. Thus the grain of salt.

If Dustin Hogue would have been here all four years, he might have been "that guy". From the karate kick at WV to the message he left on the white board in the Iowa locker room after a victory there, Hogue was well on his way to not being liked at all. He did the dirty work on the boards that makes you love him if he is on your team. His toothpick may be the most famous piece of wood since Buford Pusser's Ax handle in Walking Tall.

Dustin was a bad ************

Agreed, he said we were the frontrunners for Johnathan Lawson and then a couple weeks later he joined his brother at Oregon.

Bain is reporting what he was told by Nunn's coach. Don't take Bain with a grain of salt on this matter but one should definitely take the coach's comments with a grain of salt at this point in time.

Take any Hs coaches comments on a recruit with a grain of salt. No one at any of the schools can refute his claims

He looks like he could be an answer to our prayers. Let's just hope we can retain his commitment

Hunter, Nunn.....a healthy Foster. That's some good talent. As for retaining them if Prohm is let go this year.....better hope they love ISU.

However, Steve is class act and I am sure if he knew his time was up this year, he would do his best with the players and their families to keep their commitments even though he is under no obligation to do so.

None of these guys are even close to the level of player where you would base a coaching decision on keeping them, or even factor it at all into the decision. I like these guys, but every coach we have had has brought in equally talented players.

The important thing will be how they are developed and coached. In order for them to reach their potential, and for our program to get back to where it should be, we need major improvement in those areas.

I don’t think you will have to worry too much about them, so at least there’s that.

Well then maybe you should have responded to this instead:
