I would wager a lot he isn't coming here. More info on scout premium but seems like a smoke screen or he is trying to create some buzz?

It's odd to me he still says 50/50 even knowing we just got Warren. Makes me think he could be a Cyclone.

Either way, I am excited. I love signing day drama.

Id give them Jones if we got Vaughn. Fair trade if you ask me.
in terms of single player impact to a team no question. Though Jones 4 years.... and that would turn some heads in the requiting world - a top reciever and RB. May even attract a top QB! I would take either, I ain't picky just want one. That said I really have a good feeling about Warren. I think he is going to be special.

"Jones described Iowa State’s head coach Paul Rhodes as a “great guy” and a leader who is enthusiastic. But he likes Kill, too. “He cares about his players a lot,” Jones said."

:realmad: Lafester Rhoads was a great guy too.

Syria won't get bumped. He's essentially a fullback/power back. By the time he sees the field he'll be 230-240 but faster and more athletic than Woody ever was.

He'll never approach 230. People like to say this about Syria but it really isn't true. He's bigger than what we have had at RB but he's not fullback like.

I say send Mangino up to knock on his door and say "I heard you were 50/50 let's see if I can make it 51%" it's certainly odd but seems like he is creating suspense for the home town crowd to be the saviour.

He would be such a good steal but it will be tough to beat out Florida and Michigan

He would be the cherry on top of an already very good class for ISU. But from the article it seems he is leaning towards Minny now. That would be a waste of his considerable talents, IMO.

From the article he sounded solid for Minnesota. There are some guys who are better off getting away from their home area for a variety of reasons and that is ISU's best chance. I'm sure Mangino and Ayeni would be thrilled to have him.

It would be recruiting malpractice to not get Ayeni and Mangino in contact with Jeff Jones so I am pretty confident that CPR has done that.

I am 100% happy with Syria and Warren for this class. Not to say that Jones and Mister aren't good players but they certainly aren't needs at this point.

We've got bigger problems than worrying where Jones is going. Our rb's are set and I'm happy with them. Having 3 in the same class isn't healthy.
