i am guessing it is this.

Tang went on to say that he thinks it is ridiculous that college basketball fans criticize players when they make a mistake, just because they are receiving NIL money. He said he recently watched a game in which the TV commentator said a certain player was getting paid too much money to miss a certain shot. Tang was stunned by that remark, because he doesn’t hear the same during NBA games.

Lol, Tang. Nobody gets shat on for missing a shot or two. They get shat on for not living up their to monetary value. That applies to the NBA just as much as college now.

Tang go so lucky his first year when he made that run. Can't remember who they played to make it to the elite 8 but it wasnt the hardest teams for sure.
They also had that superstar little guard that bailed for cash at Miami iirc.

Tang must not pay much attention to NBA if he thinks fans don't b*tch about highly-paid signees missing shots.

And Nowell was the guy who carried them through that Tournament run (along with Johnson). Tang thought he had this thing figured out at that point. Just throwing a bunch of talent together every year isn’t enough as it turns out.

Nowell is to Tang what inheriting Senior Monte was to Prohm. Except Prohm was a pretty nice guy and Tang is an a-hole.

A brilliant point guard can mask a pretty lacking x's and o's coach.

100% true. Coach on the floor and the talent on that team was very good top to bottom. Nowell, Keyontae Johnson, Tomlin, Cam Carter, Desi Sills and Ish Moussoud. So talented.
