Unfortunate but he will be drafted. The only other TE on that list I see that would go ahead of him is Williams from MN. I watched a couple MN games this year and he was impressive.

It's unfortunate that he was overlooked for the award. He will probably go before most of the eight Mackey semi-finalists in the draft, and perhaps even all of the finalists, depending on what teams are looking for.

I'm hoping that he's well enough to play the next two games. He seemed pretty banged up after he took that hit to the knee area. On another forum, sounded iffy as to whether he'll play this weekend. Bibbs has been one true bright spot this year. Also agree that it's not worth him risking long term injury for these last two fairly meaningless games. He's got a bright future ahead of him. Will be fun to see him on Sundays. Reminds of Vernon Davis. Think he could have that kind of impact, too, if on the right team.

Fify. And no. Not nearly the physical freak that Davis is. Still very good and potentially an all pro but Davis is on another level.

Haha. Not sure why I put Wells, but gracias for the correction. But, I disagree. While it may be somewhat of a stretch, I think Bibbs will demonstrate VD like capability. He may be step or two behind in the speed category, but makes up for it in size and strength. He will create similar mismatches as Davis does, I think.

So they went with the usual "must play on a winning team" criteria?

Too bad for Bibbs, he's a monster at TE and I would love to see him in Black and Gold. Although if he did play for Iowa he wouldn't be putting up the numbers he is because GDGD doesn't like TEs.
