2 years at Tulane. He sat out one year at Tulane on transfer which explains why he graduated with one year of eligibility left.
Business Management Major. Not sure what degree he could earn at any of the three schools in the business area without it also being offered at Tulane. (Is that the rule?)
Competition: Pitt, Gonzaga, Illinois and Iowa State.
Gonzaga seems a long way away from home.
Pitt gets him to North Carolina a couple times next year in the ACC.
Illinois, desperately needs him probably more than the other schools and Sam Mclaurin showed Groce is willing to play a transfer.
Iowa State, transfer U, he would fit in with all the transfers. However, besides Gonzaga, probably the most remote location for him to go to.

I love when opposing fans derogatorily call us Transfer U, in a thread about their desperate desires for another transfer. Jealousy- they have it.
Ha, Transfer U... I call ISU that, I don't think it's derogatory at all. Anyway, the reason for my post is regarding Edozie. He looks really good in the video, I'm not sure why you guys aren't impressed. Don't think he would have posted it on YouTube if he didn't think it was a decent video. You also have to factor in other hypotheticals for his poor performance on paper. Maybe a bad relationship with his coach? Maybe he got hurt? Maybe he's not known to be an offensive playmaker? Could easily be Fred is bringing him in for depth purposes, and could use his size, strength underneath, rebounding and defense. Edozie is who I'm expecting to see in our lineup next year. Not Davis.
What's derogatory in that? More B.H.
If anything, I like the title Transfer U. If any players out there are looking to transfer, and they know there is a school out there called Trasfer U......can only be good for us.

The thing that I don't understand is that the early signing period was from Nov 14th-Nov 21st.

They say that he signed on Nov 26th. So maybe he hasn't officially signed. I'm not sure. Do you have to sign during Nov 14th-Nov 21st or can you sign after the signing period? I don't get it.
I really, really want this guy. It sucks that we would have to pull an offer/have someone transfer, but I trust that Fred has a handle on it. In the words of Dan Hawkins, "This ain't intramurals, brother."
My guess is either Edozie or Bluford won't make it to Ames. I hate to speculate like that, but that's just a gut feeling.

But what message does this send incoming recruits? Commit to ISU to likely get replaced by someone who gave their commitment somewhere else? No loyalty and no integrity in this concept. As much as I'd like Davis or Edwards, I would hate to see Hoiberg develop a bad rap by making a shady move to prevent someone from coming to campus who committed a long time ago. The moral code some of you are wanting Hoiberg to display is along Alford lines.
The fact is we have no idea what has been promised, said or agreed to by Fred and each, individual recruit. There could be 1 million reasons why a Juco doesn't make it to school, most of which are under the recruits control and not Fred's.
So far, Hoiberg hasn't screwed anyone. And he even came up with a scholarship for Bubu. I think recruits and current players can trust what he says.
Scholarships opening by means of something other than players graduating or going pro happens everywhere. Welcome to major college basketball.
since he signed though wouldn't he be guaranteed a year. If I remember correctly the scholly is in the signed letter of intent....that you agree to have a copy of mine somewhere but I played naia ball so may be different.
