could be mistaken, but didn't one of the coaches say he was one of the better defenders on the team? if that is true, i sure hope he sticks around. need some better defense in the future.
as someone else mentioned, just because he didn't see minutes this year, as a freshman, does not mean he isn't a quality player. we had a lot of experience ahead of him. plus, he probably had the worst possible year a freshman can have personally with all the tragedy in his family. that undoubtedly took a huge toll on him both physically and emotionally.
