I agree. The special effects were great - they were very cool but not over the top. That's kind of rare these days. The acting was OK. The writing was pretty bad in places. And the stereotypes just kept coming in hit after hit.
But overall it was worth the price of admission to see it in a theater.
Also, teenager in 2015 can fix a jeep sitting for 20 years. That's less believable. The kid didn't even refasten the hood. Rant over.
The fact that the tires had any air left in them was what got me.
Just saw it and it was okay I guess. Some good parts and lines, but overall just an average movie. I thought the ending was dumb.
I left the theater with a T-Rex sized boner.
Average movie? Smh. Just saw it today. ****ing awesome and blew the original out of the water. Chris Pratt is the real deal.
Chris Pratt is a badass, but I dont think it blew the original out of the water. Was it good? Yeah. Do I plan on buying it when it comes out? No.

Rulzzz, you been drinking? Let's not get too carried away here.
I'll take Chris Pratt over Sam O'Neill as the hero everyday.

I agree with this, especially after seeing Sam Neill in the Tudors. Chris Pratt is the man. FWIW, I thought the new one wasn't as bad as some are suggesting. It wasn't the best, but let's be honest, the original set the bar so damn high. That said, Jurassic World still beats out a lot of the other movies today.
The dialogue in this one was absolutely terrible, although I loved everything else.
I can't remember if the first one was as bad since I haven't seen it in years.
