Kam White (@K__raw) picks Iowa State over Florida, Tennessee, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Auburn. Quite the list to beat.

(SIAP) Considering everyone we beat out for this guy, and everything the NCAA hasn't done to punish Penn St, UNC, and Baylor for their misdeeds, watch out - here comes the NCAA microscope and banhammer...

It would be tough to turn down the $EC bagmen, but I hope he does and stays with the good guys.

I find it interesting he plays linebacker this year. I wonder if he rather play DB or LB. That could be the difference between us and ole miss. What does he want to play more? I'm sure we could take him as a LB too.

His last HS game was streamed live, so I watched some of it. In that game, he seemed to be playing safety and wide receiver. The video quality wasn't great, so it was difficult to draw to many conclusions. I thought he looked like a stud athlete, but the game itself didn't seem to have the structure and competitiveness that I was expecting. His team seemed to be focused around Cam Akers and his athletic ability. Kam didn't really do much when I was watching, but they still blew out the team they were playing. The competition wasn't very good. After watching his game and watching Keontae Jones's highlights, I think Jones might be more polished as a safety just based on the program he plays in. I say try to get both. It would be awesome to have Jones at Safety and White at LB. Can't get enough guys like them.

That could be true but I'd say its more likely that that's just the difference between watching highlights and an actual game.

I would say it was more the caliber of the football. Jones's team is ranked nationally and plays teams of similar caliber. It was obvious that White's team was really talented, but team they were playing and the structure of game was not on the same level.

They can crystal ball all they want, it's very early. They may have insider information but I don't view them as a prophet just because they're predicting a quality recruit to decommit from a 1 win team in Iowa to stay home in the SEC, should that become true. That being said, I'm not worried about Ole Miss as much as some other potential suitors. I think Kam is very dialed in on the culture CMC wants to build and I would think most recruits of his caliber and intelligence would be able to see we are not too far away from at least being competitive in the conf. standings at least

If he leaves then we could lose other recruits like Bailey and johnson
