There are much more Vikings fans here. Bad job out of KCCI.
Sometimes I think they have a deal going on w/ the local bar restuarants. You know those places love it when they chose **** games. Then more people come into their place and pay money to watch the games. Maybe they give them a cutback?!?!

Got a 3 TV set up in the basment (60"Big, 2-27") cable on the small ones, DTV (NFL Ticket) on Big screen....got 3 games going there, and then have DTV superfan pkg on computer....jumping around.....:yes:

As I understand it, because the game is at Minnesota, an NFC team, CBS doesn't have broadcast rights to it. FOX does - and they're choosing to air Green Bay/Detroit. I may be wrong, but I don't think it's KCCI's fault.
Let's see your proof first. Your only claim for this game to be on TV is your belief that there are fans here. My argument is for the better game.

All of these teams' fans will claim to outnumber the others. And it doesn't mean anything.
The fact is that KCCI is showing a game between 2 bad teams in place of a game of 2 "playoff contenders."
The loser of the Chiefs/Raiders game will be 0-2 and that result will surprise nobody.
The loser of the Vikings/Colts game will be 0-2 and that result WILL be newsworthy.

It's a CBS game. For these games, the network of the visiting team gets the broadcast. Plus I'm watching it on DirecTV with the big CBS logo on the screen

I was just looking it up because I thought I might be wrong. Yup, inter-conference games go to the network of the away team. S/b on CBS.
One advantage of living in NW Iowa (at least today) - the Fox station in Sioux City is carrying the Da Bears vs. Carolina.
I always thought it was that why too, CBS = AFC and FOX = NFC.

The FOX game is GB at DET and was switched on Friday from CHI at CAR talk about switching from a decent matchup to possible blow out. There are alot of Vikes, Chiefs, Bears, Pack and some Rams fans in Iowa, from experience there are more Bear fans than any others. I am not a fan of any of these teams GO BRONCOS
There probably are more Bronco fans, but there are way more Favre fans than anything and that is what they want to see.
And how is that a **** game? They are rivals. Both 1-0. Brady is out and Cassell is making his first start since high school. The coaches hate each other. Spygate. Etc etc
If I had a choice b/w getting kicked in the nuts or watching the Chiefs/Oakland game, I might think hard about the kick in the nuts. The pain would go away in an hour or so but the pain of having to watching that horse**** game would stick w/ me forever.
Look at the QB's that are playing in that game. Russell/Huard/Thigpen. The best RB is Fargas. Chiefs can't score on a team that got torched last week

Its going to be a blow out . Patriots almost lost to the chiefs!!!!! Cassell is going to have like 2 ints and farve is going to have 3 td in the first half.
There are probably just as many farve haters as there are lovers now.
Yes the rivalry is interesting but that doesnt make the game fun to watch.

I would much rather watch Colts/Vikings but I think it's hard to argue there are more of any given team's fans in central Iowa. I think there have been more and more Vikings, Packers, Bears and Colts fans in the metro area than KC fans recently, but I don't know that an official census has ever been completed:wink:

Does Tom Brady play defense? Last I checked the Patriots have one of the better defenses in the league. This game will not be a blowout and I am hoping that Cassell plays great.

On another note, they're expanding Arrowhead after the season, and I just found out I get to work on a bid package for the concrete forming next week. :smile:
