Now that Ken is gone, there's literally no reason to listen to local sports talk on 1460 anymore.

Geesh, she's been doing sports radio for two days. Give her a chance to refine her craft before you write her off.
Is there a recording of the "incident" that resulted in Marty being fired. I wasn't around for it and it sounds like it may be funny.

You must hate Murph and Andy?
Yes, they are not good. Unless you like tired jokes and pointless non-sports related observations of everyday life.
yes, I kinda like those things. Good filler for my day at work.
KRNT has been around for years. That was the radio affiliate for the Chicago Cubs as long as I can remember. Otherwise it was adult listening/oldies.
Wonder if losing the WGN radio contract with the Cubs - moving over to CBS is part of this. That had to be one of their better advertising/revenue streams.
Not a bad signal - not great.
another rant coming here...
I gave Joe a listen, knowing that he had previously worked at KXNO... 590 in Omaha usually goes out of its way in promos to not mention ISU... they talk Huskers 95% of the time and Iowa-Creighton the other 5%. Ironically I see that they had CW on today on 590..
Anyways I could see Joe wanting to leave 590 if he is sick of stroking husker fan's ego's....
Oh for **** sake, Downs is as fair of a person you can find for a hawkeye fan when it comes to the Cyclones
I suppose they don't really want to address this publicly, eh? :twitcy:
Haven't listened to KXNO since they moved Jay Mohr to evenings.

Haven't read the rest of the thread, but they didn't post the second hour of the Murph & Andy show from today when they were apparently talking about it. Lame.
