Obviously I understand that Iowa State isn’t choosing what time the game is. Isn’t there a chance the Big 12 would look at their members’ home basketball schedules and put in a request for tv time slots? I will admit I worded the original post poorly as if that was the only factor in the decision.Theyre not wrong.
The television execs are not going to consider that basketball game at all. They probably wouldnt even if we were good in basketball this year. Its much more about the national audience for the games being considered for the slots.

All of this is a moot point anyway because ISU/KSU probably isn’t going to garner a night game anyway. No need for anyone to get on their high horse about it.
