I believe 4.5 was for a Chiefs game. I was kinda confused too until I Iooked it up.
Are the tickets selling? If not, the prices will drop. Scalpers in KC are pros!Looks to me that there is not a ton of resale tickets out there. So prices are steady and holding. Unless KU runs a last minute ticket special the resell market may not drop tons as there just is not a large amount out there being resold.
As has been the case from the start, your best bet is to navigate the third party sites like Stubhub. If you're the gambling type, wait until an hour or 2 before the game. If you prefer having a ticket in hand, you can get a decent seat for $75 with the chance of moving closer if there are open seats. I would wait until the day of the game and take my chances that prices on the third party sites will drop. What's the verdict? Are they going to drop the prices or not? Anybody got any intel? I'm trying to make a gameday decision
More like a family of 4 for $75...As has been the case from the start, your best bet is to navigate the third party sites like Stubhub. I was just using Stubhub prices after fees. I highly doubt your getting 4 tickets at less than $20 apiece. I think ISU fans are underestimating the amount of KU fans that will be there. Unless I'm misunderstanding the point of your post.More like a family of 4 for $75...
But the fact is they will not even come close to selling out. I mean at literally every game where lots of seats will be open, the third party places start selling them at super low prices a couple hours before the game because otherwise they won't sell at all. Does this game being at arrowhead change the dynamic that much???I was just using Stubhub prices after fees. I highly doubt your getting 4 tickets at less than $20 apiece. Serious question, did AI make this picture?View attachment 137456
This is form the TCU game......maybe not 47k as it was listed, but certainly more than 10k....that lower bowl probably seats around 30k if I were a betting man

I'm sure like a lot of fans you'll be in nosebleeds for kickoff and then people will move down (if they so choose.) I'm cool with itWe'll be in the nosebleeds ISU Visiting section. I have been pumped for this game ever since KU announced that their home games would be at Arrowhead. Huge opportunity tomorrow to keep controlling our destiny to the Big 12 and even CFP. Go State!
In this day of age scalpers are now basically "ticket brokers." The KC folks that sell tickets are tough folks but if you wait it out closer to game time the prices fall quick. The Big 12 BB tournament before the digital ticket era if we wanted to flip our semi final or championship game tickets because ISU was out we'd hit up a few guys that looked like they had a bunch of tickets and get a good sense for what they were selling tickets comparable to what we had then would price ours just under that and hope a KU KSU MU or whoever else was left with a big fan base would bite. The KU fans were the worst as they would lowball you big time "ISU is out, what good is that ticket to you?" Would tell them good luck finding a scalper willing to sell for less, I would rather go watch a good game than sell it for less than most are getting right now. That was a true statement too as we usually booked a hotel for the full tournament and if ISU advanced then we already had tickets and if they lost we had options to sell and recoup money and go watch games with a fun crowd at the bars. Some years those same guys would be back shortly after with a better offer or take what we were asking. How are digital tickets scalped ?
With that attitude you’re definitely not getting tickets for less than $20 a pieceI was just using Stubhub prices after fees. I highly doubt you’re getting 4 tickets at less than $20 apiece.
