For me personally, I'd do that in reverse? I love a blueberry pie. Cherry pies are great too. But those other pies are not to my licking. Or liking.

MAN that's offensive. Mods should punish me. A good spanking maybe.

WOW what is wrong with me!?!?
Doesn't seem that abnormal for you.

I'm only going there again to poop and not flush. That will show those bastards.

While going to ISU, I would only stop in Iowa City to take a dump on my way to and from IL where my folks live. I refused to spend a dime in that city... its petty and i've grown out of this mindset but it generally seems like an appropriate policy.

I understand the sentiment here but I wouldn’t even want to expose my junk in an Iowa city restroom and increase my chances of some std latching on.

Wait, people will boycott something because they teased Cyclone fans on the outcome of a football game? They even responded with a tweet showing Cyclone fans kicking them down the steps.
.
No.
I boycott facilitating support for the Hawkeyes. Particularly when it costs me nothing to do.

This a Cyclone message board. It’s completely reasonable to have a discussion on not facilitating the Krause's (Kum and Go) unequalled support of Hawkeye athletics.

Have some self-respect.

Some people need to lighten up.

I go to K&G on occasion and probably still will but its not the tweet that would move me away from patronizing them, its the large donations to the Iowa Athletics department. It may be alittle petty but I try spend my money with businesses that have similar interest as me. its not all that different than buying local to support your community. Its the same concept.

Exactly. Clearly some don’t know the Krause clan.

This isn’t about just a good natured tweet. The tweet is basically emblematic of the celebration Kum and Go had in Krause Family Plaza at Kinnick over the hawk’s upset win. I choose not to endorse that with my wallet.

Want to support local (Cyclone) interests? Don’t shop at the sketchy Hawkeye chain.

I was not aware of the Krause family until today. makes me a little sad as a resident of Des Moines as i really appreciate what they did with their new Headquarters near the sculpture park. they did a great job with that building (intentionally resembles a grand piano) to keep with the spirit of Western Gateway park.

Testifying
Tweet was pretty harmless but dumb to post it on a corporate account, especially when a lot of Iowa State fans were/are still angry about how the game ended.
And there's a few stores in Ames, they are building a new cafe style one on South Duff, and Huxley just annexed some land and reclassified taxes by 35 for a nice big new store.

K&G flying ISU flag outside corporate HQ today. Shot a photo but having trouble getting it to upload to here from my phone.
All the apologies and flags and tweet deleting they want.....they wouldn’t be doing an ounce of it if they didn’t have to. That’s why i always roll my eyes when talking heads demand athlete or politician apologies—if you have to ask for it, it ain’t worth the response

I emailed them and shared my displeasure. Here is the response. To coin a Colonel
Potter saying..."horse hockey!"

"Thank you for reaching out – I apologize for the frustrations you’ve experienced with this! This wasn’t an attempt to alienate any of our customers. In fact, we have multiple associates who are ISU alums as well. However, I’ve forwarded your feedback to our marketing department."

I don't know about boycott. When there are multiple gas stations that you can stop at, they just gave me a reason to go across the street. Costs me all of zero to do it and inconveniences me not at all. Usually, I don't care where I fill up and grab a Diet Dew, but if they want to give me a reason to turn left instead of right, I guess I'll do it.
