Thank God we aren't like UI and NU fans. That is the best compliment you can give us. Sorry, LoewDog, I love your take. There may be something to how ISU fans are very few in number compared to the others. We are in the minority. You get a little bit more sensitive when you can't turn without running into a Hawk or Husker, and if you dare to wear your cardinal proud, you are more than likely going to take crap from them. What sucks is that it usually comes from somebody checking you out at Casey's, or toweling off your car, etc. (I know, cheap shots).
Again, Matt, do what you do. Nobody is going to stop you. It's obviously gotten you all the jobs you have had. Eventually you should even make it back to your holy land. But at least understand that some of us are just tired of hearing the same ol' **** from our fellow Iowans, now we have to hear it over the airwaves. (The Iowa State Superbowl is one that will push most of us over the edge, as you can see here).
BTW, I think it's deplorable that people care about sports so much that they would want you to be harmed. This world is going sour, maybe because we don't treat each other as we would want to be treated.

Not true. During a call to challenge "I'm 33"on his 'mis-remembering' during the conference re-alignment you cut off a caller. The caller exactly quoted "I'm 33" and he jumped in and started talking over the caller doing his usual schtick. The caller started arguing with "I'm 33". The caller started getting loud and saying "let me finish" because "I'm 33" started yelling and talking over the caller. You then hung the phone up and said "you aren't going to win any arguements here". Did not thank the caller, and let "I'm 33" continue on his side without ever letting the caller finish". That was one of the few shows that I listened to during the realignment uproar. "I'm 33" doesn't do well when someone quotes him, and shows him the folly in his words.
I will tell you, that your best show was the one about beers while "I'm 33" was gone. I may listen once a week, just to hear how cartoonish and dishonest "I'm 33" is being on any given day.
