Coach Mac and Mike Taylor are going to be best friends by the time this one is over...Mac has to correct him every timeout, he could be so good if he understood the game??

we are up 27-17. @ half

I just looked at the score on yahoo...

few things stand out: ISU 2-12 from 3-point land

Taylor 2-12 FG 1-5 3pt ISU scoring leader @7, but has taken the large majority of shots

Louisiana Monroe-only shooting 25% from the field, so defense looks good from the stats

When these guys buy into what Coach Mac is trying to teach them, they will be competetive, maybe even good, with a few more players...

Clones are playing stingy D. I think LA M only has 4 points since the half started. ISU has doubled up on them now.

Taylor could be very good but really has no understanding of the game. Very frustrating to watch.

give him time, he will get it..

the D is amazing from what it sounds like, and we are really hitting he O glass and getting 2nd chance points

leading the rebound margin 37-20 with and are shooting 14/14 FT with about 8:30 left

Last season the Cyclones nearly always gave far more fouls than the opposition; this year they are giving up far fewer (so far)

On the road...
Now that is Mac basketball! Taylor can get out of control at times but I am impressed by how they look so far; granted the teams are little south of good.

Couldnt see the game, but sounds like we really played well tonight, espically in the second half.

Its been a long time since the cyclone team has blown somebody out, in football or bball.

Good job tonight!

Great job by the team. They put them away and never let them back in.

Taylor is an unbridled ball of energy. Mac just needs to keep him focused. He is so hyperactive out there. He'll be good, though.

Wesley Johnson looked outstanding tonight. He was a monster on the glass and converted on a number of opportunities. He will be our best player at some point in his career. Could someone remind me how he wasn't signed earlier.....6'8 small forard who is incredibly athletic and can shoot. I can't remember the last time we had one of those. I guess mabe Lafestor Rhodes ha ha.

Just got home. Great game!! Free-throw percentages were great (I think we only missed one), but 3-pointers were bad again. Crowd was a little bigger than last night.
