Hard to believe we got a sit-out transfer and we're being told he won't be a contributor. (not my words). But seems to be all we're hearing. Were we just searching for practice players?
Also, I'm not into transfer threads, but I do have a question. Lets just say what CW stated is true. Can we afford to have two guys, Kasongo and Simeon, on a roster of 13 in our situation next year, be non-contributors?

I've heard a couple posters use the word "enforcer" and Kasongo together. I guess I don't see it. The guy is 6'9 230, and when I've seen his stature, he looks more like a McKay type than a Solomon Young or Jared Homan type.
I see him and Lard being pretty similar, long and athletic bigs that can get out and run.

Athletically he reminds me of McKay but physically he is built in the same brick **** house mold as Solomon. Kasongo would eat McKay alive in the post.

Yes we can afford to have Kasongo & Carter as non-contibutors next year. Afterall, CSP will probably only play 8-9 guys once we get to conference season. Most likely, that is part of the reason the coaching staff only signed 3 HS players last fall and is hitting JUCO's hard this spring.

What I find interesting is how hard we are recruiting 2018 kids, but only lose Donovan at this time.
