Like others have mentioned, the replay at Hilton showed the ball was off the OK state guy swiping at it. It was kind of funny to watch the third official (who was not at the monitor) nod his head in agreement with the crowd when the replay showed it looked to be off OK state. I still wasn't sure if they would deem it conclusive enough to overturn the call but was obviously happy it went our way.

Did TV show a bad angle or what? Like others said, it looked pretty definitive on the big screen who it went off of. Saw on Okie State boards how many of them said it was clearly off Monte (they are fans so yeah) and I feel like if they would've seen the view we saw in Hilton they would've agreed it was off their player. Probably not

Atrocious. We couldn't get any calls in the 1st half, then it was like 7-1 Okie State in fouls until pretty late in the 2nd. Really inconsistent - no reward for getting fouled driving for layups, but it's OK to jump into a guy even though that is NOT supposed to be called. I don't agree with the Monte call at the end as their guy was clearly in bounds. I get "establishing," but to me, it's like in football with a "catch" now. Catches aren't catches anymore. We got the benefit of having instant replay to overturn something on a technicality. Hate winning that way.

Pretty sure the ball went Monte tip/Carroll tip/Monte tip, Carroll swipe out, and that the ball was called out of bounds due to illegal touching on the first Carroll tip (as he was inbounds when he touched it last, but you couldn't verify that on video).

IIRC TV only ever showed the "main" camera angle, just slowed down. It was not obvious at all who touched the ball last from that camera angle, which is why we've been discussing alternate theories, such as whether the inbounder was ever fully established in bounds, etc. It's also why, if you watched on TV, we wouldn't have been totally outraged if it was "inconclusive" because from that TV angle it wasn't. Unless, you know, that call cost us the game. Then there'd be a completely different mood on the site.

In any case, incredible play by Monte Morris that helped lock down the game.

Gotcha.. I was saying at the game right away that it would probably be ruled inconclusive since it was so close. Then they showed the one angle that pretty clearly showed it was off Okie State and I would've been pretty upset had they not given the ball to us

Honestly, watching from home, I was surprised we got the ball based on what I saw. I'm glad a better angle was shown at Hilton. The angles I saw didn't make me feel good about that call being reversed in our favor.

OSU really got lost on the following inbounds play to Matt. It reminded me of what Baylor kept doing to us last weekend, but in a good way this time.

Watching on TV, when I saw the first replay I texted my SO and said it's their ball. But then saw another replay and texted back... Hmmmmm... Maybe not - I think Baylor swiped it. Then I watched Monte and IMO he wasn't trying to draw a call. He was 100% it was off Baylor.

I was sitting on that end of floor. The refs got the last call right but don't tell that to a Poke. The replay on the Jumbotron confirmed the same. They had a camera right next to the play and showed it. Cyclone ball.

I was at the game so I didn't see what ESPN showed, but from my angle there wasn't a Baylor player within 500 miles of the ball.

Same here. But it was strange that the 3rd ref came in and talked to the two watching the monitor so I wonder if there was a better angle shown on the jumbotron. And if there was, can that be used to make decisions?

All in all, Monte got rewarded for a great hustle play.

TV was focusing solely on if his feet were in bounds and not on who actually touched the ball last.

I'm almost positive that the Jumbotron can't "officially" be used as a review source.

I was at the game and then watched the 2nd half again last night. The views you saw at Hilton were much better than TV. From the TV replay I could not tell, so I can see how OSU fans thought they got screwed. From the TV replay, I would have said the call should have stood if that was all the evidence I had.

It felt like Monte made that play with a new urgency, hilton magic or senior night, or both
