Pow! Zing! Boy, you guys really got me there! How can I ever recover?
I think Lazard goes to ISU for all the reasons already discussed ad nauseum. There's also the fact that that's where he says he's going and you have to take the young man at his word (and keep recruiting the hell out of him). Additionally, Notre Dame has verbals from 2 4-star wide receivers and signed 2 4-star wide receivers last year. Lazard can probably start right away at ISU while there's no way he does at ND.
I really hope Lazard goes to Iowa State. It would be great to watch him for 4 years and I do think those years will coincide with continuously increasing talent and depth levels. There will be more wins and I really believe that 4 years from now, Iowa State will be firmly entrenched as an 8-win per season minimum program. I think Lazard will be a big part of that. Signing Lazard means more to the ISU program than it would to the ND program. That's why I wanted Iowa State to beat Notre Dame in basketball last year. The win meant more to the ISU program than a win would have meant to the ND program. Of course, I really didn't want the curb-stomping that occurred, but oh well.
Anyway, I won't check this for spelling, composition or grammar so that maybe some of you super-clever smart guys can whoop and holler over a misplaced comma, or something. My gift.
