Did a quick look over coffee (bored this Monday AM) and first guys I thought of, outside of the past few years, were Luther Blue and Ike Harris scoring WR touchdowns back in the 1970's. Looked a little more and 1979 was a trio with the two receivers and RB Mike Strahan with TD's. Being an elder I do like to look back and remember (and prove) how good the talent on those Cyclone teams really was. :D

Seneca Wallace and Sage Rosenfels had TD's (2005-2008).

A. J. Klein/Lazard/Montgomery all scored TD's in 2019 and we have the Lazard/Hall/Montgomery trio this year. Brock maybe has a shot at making it a quad if he gets some PT.

As a bonus stat, Montgomery and Lazard have scored in the same Packers/Bears game.
Hobbs had like 4 TD on punt return too. One each year for 4 years those same years.

I don't know that Lazard would be in the league if not for Rodgers.
That is a stretch, but I think it's fair to say Rogers has helped his career immensely.

I am confident in saying Lazard loves his situation and dealing with Rodgers. As a Vikings fan I can’t stand Rodgers or the Pack but it’s an awesome situation for him. That Bears offense is a disaster.

The two big plays Lazrard had in the game were RIDICULOUS throws from Rodgers, especially his first big catch. Highly doubtful many other arms on the planet put the ball there.

I'm no Rodgers fan but he was getting pressured like crazy. Quinnen Williams looked like the best player in the game for either team and he was all over a-a-ron all game.

GB can't run the ball and teams will pin their ears back.

There seems to be a notion that Rodgers is nothing without Adams, etc. but people haven't been paying attention as he's carried teams with average receivers and porous defense for a decade.

This year he doesn't have someone that can open up the defense much and GB is squeezed as a result.

The Packers offense is a dumpster fire without him. Would love to see him on the Bears, let him play with Montgomery and not have to deal with Rodgers any more.
You want him to leave the Packers dumpster fire for the Bears? And you prefer that he deals with Justin Fields than Rodgers?

I totally agree with this. Rodgers went to the coach and let them know they needed to keep him and he adds a lot. Not to mention Rodgers throwing to him is the best thing that could have happened to him. He was cut from another team. Now saying that. Lazard absolutely deserves to be in the league and was severely overlooked in the draft and his prior team cutting him.

Rodgers looks like he's aged about 5 years in the last 12 months, cant throw down field. They just got housed by the Giants and Jets, GB is falling apart. Fields needs a big time weapon like Lazard. They would have beat the Vikings and Washington if they didn't have to rely on a crappy Iowa WR. Rodgers is trending down in a big big way.

I think it's more like Lazard not being happy about a drama queen QB throwing to him 5 or 6 times a game.
He gave Lazard a couple chances to make big catches, both of which Lazard dropped. Not easy catches by any means, but the kind that big time receivers make.

That one that was right around the goal line in double coverage, the announcers seemed to want to blame Lazard. He didn’t time his jump right but I would think the fistful of his jersey the dude was grabbing would affect his jump for the ball. The announcers thought that was no big deal.

I think you need to add Al Dixon? At least I think he had a few with the Giants, not sure of year

I should open a new thread just for my corrections based on Carvers suggested edits!

Update/Correction: Six Cyclone NFL TD's in 1978! Wide receivers Luther Blue and Ike Harris, running back Mike Strahan, and tight ends Al Dixon and Keith Krepfle and linebacker Matt Blair.

This is why the mid to late 1970's teams are still the most talented, personnel-wise, we've ever had. And, crazy tough league with Nebraska, Oklahoma and Colorado finishing #1, #2 and #3 in the nation in '71. In some ways today's SEC of the '70's.

Definitely wasn't an easy one, but it could have been caught.
