So is LeBron officially rocking the #6 jersey?
Yep. Chalmers filed a request today to change from #6.

so wait, they had one guy on the roster, and he had #6? :biglaugh:
I wonder what he got paid?
He gets first dibs at shining LeBron's shoes.
This.
If he wanted to keep LeBron in Cleveland, he should have tried harder.
Why would you want a guy on your team that you knew or believed quit during the playoffs? My question is why was he trying to retain him?
If I am an NBA player, I might be hesitant to go there with that kind of child like owner.
Chalmers wanted to switch to #15, which is what he wore at Kansas. I doubt Lebron gave him anything.
I think Gilberts behavior would only rub LeBron James the wrong way. Gilbert offered him more $$ than any other team could offer and LeBron chose to make the smart move and go win a championship to build up his "King James" image. The remaining mid-level NBA free agents will be running to Cleveland in the next couple of weeks so they can make top dollar in hopes to make the Cavs contenders again. Gilbert said himself that he wants the Cavs to win a ring before the Heat, and I'm willing to bet he'll pay top-dollar for whatever he can get.
He's no King. King's don't runaway and let someone else do their dirty work. That's why people are ****** at Shebron. He's some self-proclaimed King and he just proved he can't do anything on his own. He's not a King. He's a *****.
Mark Cuban and him are friends, like Cuban too?The Cavs are starting to be my new favorite team because of there owner.
Agree that he handled himself badly with "The Decision", but who are you (or anyone) to tell him what he has to do to live up to a catchy nickname?
Do we also tell other people they are less intelligent if they chose to go to Iowa State for college even when they had an offer from Harvard?
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Kings leaders? Not followers? Going to Iowa State instead of Harvard has nothing to do with this, nothing at all. Lebron claimed he was this leader, this icon. He proved he can't do anything on his own, hence going to Dwayne Wades team and let Wade win him a championship. He could have gone to Chicago or New York or back to Cleveland and been the best player on the team and lead that team to a championship but he proved he couldn't do that. You wanna nickname yourself "the King" you better act like one.
It's a freaking nickname... Mark Madsen was "The Mad Dog" for God's sake. Shawn Marion is "The Matrix".. does Shawn Marion exist in a parallel reality or save humanity against the machines?
If he doesn't, who will? It's not like John Connor is floating around already....
