How many should be added and what teams do you pick.

I would think a 20 team conference would be the target at this point. We could have 4 divisions of 5 teams. Each year there are partner divisions. For football each team plays a full round robin with their partner division. Champion of each partner division plays for the conference championship. In basketball it's a full double round robin. Then seed two sides of a tournament bracket with partner divisions based on standings inside those divisions.

I'm going for the so called 4 corner schools (Utah, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado.) Then we need to add 4 more preferably out east. How about Louisville, Pitt, and let's go crazy and say Clemson and Notre Dame.

SDSU, I'm just going on what I see posted on the other threads. They seem to be the most important piece of the puzzle that every other conference has overlooked for some reason.

Really just depends on who the B1G takes.

Oregon and Washington? Stanford and Cal? Does ND end up joining and Oregon and/or Washington get left out?

Four corners to the Big12. Washington and/or Oregon if the B1G passes.

Then probably Pitt and Louisville. Maybe Virginia Tech. Again, really just depends on the the N1G and SEC leave behind.

Why wait to see who B1G and SEC leave behind. I get that is probably a reality but lets get aggressive and attack first.

That's it right there. What annoys me is the Big 12 doesn't seem to be aggressive at all in attempting to expand. Right now Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Stanford are the best possibilities out there. If the Big12 continues to sit on their behinds for a while then I'm sure all of those schools will get picked up by the B1G. The SEC is going to go after the ACC schools with solid programs and/or history (Clemson, Florida State, Virginia Tech). We need to get it together and not sit around anymore. I'd be happy if we added Oregon, Washington, Stanford, Cal, Utah, and maybe a school like Colorado. That would put us up to 18. With 20 being ideal, I'd like us to take a longshot on two of the three between Clemson, Notre Dame, and Florida State. The only way this is any bit possible is for the Big 12 to go after it hard and fast (TWSS). Let's hope we hear something very soon here.

We can be as aggressive as we want for teams like Oregon, Clemson, etc. it’s not going to matter because the Big 12 is not going to be able to pay anywhere close to what they will get in the Big Ten or SEC. And we aren’t swooping in on any of them before the P2 get there first because most know where they are going. Oregon is in talks with the Big Ten and until they hear no way are you getting in Oregon, they will wait. They know they will always have a seat at the Big 12, so they hold the cards. Only way they wouldn’t is if something absolutely crazy happens in favor of the Big 12 where someone like Notre Dame said, “Yeah why not? Let’s go to the Big 12.” And that isn’t ever going to happen. Clemson and FSU know they are easily going to the Big Ten or SEC once they can.

Do some folks on here legit think if the Big 12 simply wants it enough all these "wants" will just automatically join?

The Big12 is trying to add schools. The bottom line is the schools have to apply for membership for the Big12, and then the Big12 can accept them. They can’t just formally send them an invitation, it’s all back channels behind the scenes. PAC schools are still waiting to hear what TV offers they get, and the Big12 hasn’t formally started media negotiations yet.
