Let's talk about Snow Cyclones and white helmets

Haven't been here for a long while. I wanted to share with everyone that Snow Cyclones are indeed a very real thing, albeit very rare. Saw this 2008 video from the Italian Alps:

Of course, with the Godzilla Snow Menace bearing upon the poor denizens of eastern cities, I got to thinking about how a Snow Cyclone concept would look.

I think that revised logo would be a perfect secondary. It would fit with any color. Between that and some subtle trice stripes I think we can be true to our branding and current colors but still have a unique look.

Maybe this will make you feel better:

We've sucked with ALL of our logos. Basketball had some good times with the funnel logo, however.

Technically though, the funnel logo some of us have been pushing for is an updated version: the "Iowa State" scr1pt has been removed, and the cyclone enlarged with some added shading.

Love it. I think it would be pretty BA if the helmets were chromed and the logo was a true gold, though. I like the one in the OP a lot and wouldn't complain.

Point well taken. I was more associating it with empty concrete colored Jack Trice with bad artificial turf and seemingly no hope for football.
