Best of luck Levi. If every player on the team had half his heart, we would be bowling every year. I could see him becoming a hell of a UFC/MMA fighter, but the injuries would probably make that a bad idea.
Posts like this **** me off. The kid walked on, worked his *** off, gave up his body to help make the football program he loves better. By all accounts his family are big fans and he also. He is also a great young man. Sometimes it is just better to keep thought like you made to yourself, someone like Levi deserves better.
I think everyone saying he was forced out by the coaching staff needs to put the brakes on. In his statements and interviews he has gone out of his way to say that the new coaching staff makes it that much harder because he likes them so much and believes in what they are doing. A new coaching staff is not going to force a team captain who was a leader in and off the field out before they even see him in camp.

Levi will definitely be missed...for his play on the field and leadership, but more so for the way he interacted with the fans both young and old. The gifs of him being a badass are great, but the many pictures of him with the kids is what sets him apart.
Sounds like Campbell wants him to help with the transition. Levi says that he loves the new staff. He is saddened that he can not physically play so that he can be a part of the new culture change. IMO, Levi is the type of player that Matt Campbell loves. Campbell and the staff likely knew that Levi would have to hang it up.

Agree. Levi is a great Cyclone and exemplifies great heart and character and effort. Levi always gave everything he had.
