Lineup? Parker at 149?

Agreed about this, but not sure who our better option is to take that spot. I think Parker is probably a better wrestler than Degen, and will likely beat him head to head, but for some reason I feel like Degen is the one who will perform better at NCAAs.

As an opposing fan, a healthy Degan can be a nightmare matchup.

From Dresser's media day interview it sounds like the plan right now is for Parker and Degen to battle for 149. No current plans for Carr to move up from 157. Sounds like there is a transfer from Campbell that is in the mix at 165 that Dresser seems high on.

I’m trying to temper my expectations. But if you listen to KD talk in that interview, he kind of gave a lot of normal comments. Then, when asked about the Cuban he didn’t say much, smiled, and acted like he had an ace in his pocket and knows it. And then went back to fairly normal comments.

Another thing that needs to be managed here is what happens with Redding. If he starts the season at 41, and Parker eventually makes his way down to weight, it could cost him a year of eligibility when he has a redshirt available.

That is why it’s a good idea to have these things figured out, and a plan in place. Who is Redding’s backup?

I'm looking forward to the season. Great interviews from all during media day, including Jacqueline's interview of Metcalf that the DSM Register apparently didn't get.

I agree, Dresser when talking about something he is happy about tends to give it away.

From the interviews it sounds like it's pretty set with Redding at 141 and Ram at 133. Of course, things could change...

I think they are more exhibition matches than wrestler offs. 165 & 285 might be 1st round matches

So… quite a few questions there. Anyone able to explain? I know what it says at the bottom but still.

Am I right to guess that these guys are all wrestling for the right to take on the assumptive starter at the later date? That would make sense with Degen/Parker since Parker is the one moving up to challenge.

That’s how I read into it
