Why is it important to maintain a top 30-45 program the next 7-10 years? Realignment? We aren’t getting an SEC or Big 10 invite and we’re not getting booted from the Big 12.

Even with the playoff expanding, I suspect that realignment will occur again between 2029-2033. That will be the final move and I suspect there will only be 50-60 teams that continue to compete at the top level.
