With yesterday's rumors of the LIV Golf League perhaps in financial trouble:

What are your thoughts and have you watched any of their events?

Would you welcome the LIV players back to the PGA tour, or make them requalify / pay a penalty?

I haven't watched a single second of any of it. The format, the backing, everything about it is a joke.

I'm glad it's collapsing and I wouldn't take any of the players back outside of Rahm, Bryson, and Cam Smith. They should also have to pay the heavy fee like Brooks is.

Not sure how that is going to work. I think the Tour accepts the big time guys, like Rahm, Bryson and so on. But middle of the pack and fringe guys probably will be forced to earn their way back onto tour I would assume? Would you make everyone pay the reintegration fee like Brooks did? So many questions

Send them all to the Korn Ferry and make them prove it. Also boosts Ferry events for a couple of years
As long as it doesn't take a spot away from someone, I'm ok with it.

My cousin has tried for years getting onto the Korn Ferry tour.

I really never cared for the changes that LIV implemented vs the traditional game, and while they took a few great players, the overall quality of competition wasn't great, so I just never had a lot of interest in watching it (though I tried a couple times when nothing else was on).

I think it would be a great thing to have everyone back on one tour, and I think the best players (like DeChambeau and Rahm) should be welcomed back on similar terms to what Brooks got, but most of them should have to earn their way back.

Good Lord, I just had to take that stuff about a month ago for something. That was some of the dumbest stuff I’ve ever dealt with.

So reading more apparently corn fairy is a tour. The stuff I had to deal with was this computer program they’re supposed to be a psychological tell about yourself.

There is one thing I think the PGA could learn from the LIV tour is that there should be more overseas tournaments, vs having three weeks in Texas or four tournaments in Florida, etc.

Where LIV was the strongest was in places like Australia and South Africa, and the turn out for those events was impressive.

However, last night I watched a little of the current LIV tournament in Mexico City, and it looked very sparsely attended and the course quality looked very poor.

Think it's good for the PGA to have some competition but LIV has always felt destined to fail.

The big guys should get the Brooks deal, the rest can work their way onto tour like everyone else.

I'm good with that. Just give an LIV golfer a spot but not count towards totals. Might throw off a few pairing but should be mostly good

I haven’t watched it and their golfers haven’t performed well outside their events for the most part. It’s not even close to profitable and requires Saudi to keep dumping money in. Hope it continues failing.

LIV is/was only going to last as long as the Saudi's bankrolled it. Nothing about the $ the stars made going there is sustainable.

I'd be fine with whatever agreement lets the star LIV players back in the PGA. The tour is better with better players. The lower level LIV players get a free pass to Korn Ferry/Q school.

There should be two paths for the LIV golfers to get back on the PGA tour. The Returning Member Program like what Koepka did, but if I was the tour I would make it a little more punitive. Probably increasing the charitable contribution from $5m to something higher and leaving the rest the same. The second option is to play your way onto the tour like anyone else, Korn Ferry Tour and Q-School. And getting to play in those shouldn't be guaranteed, but they use whatever process there is in place now.
