Does anyone have a user name and password or any other way of accessing the Longhorn Network online? I am trying to find a way to watch Saturday's game from AZ.

If anyone in AZ figures out how to watch it please let me know. I'm down here too, and as of right now I think I might have to find a low quality stream online. Thanks

Good luck. There are only 3 tiny ma & pa cable providers in all of Texas that allow direct feed registration from the LHN site. Unless something changed recently the only big provider, AT&T U-Verse, did not pay for that in their recent LHN contract. And the stream only allows one viewing computer at a time so posting the password here would be futile.

You're better off finding someone in Iowa with a $250+ Slingbox willing to push the ABC air feed. And Slingbox will only do one feed at a time so can't post the password here, either. I've heard some mentions of "justin.tv" relaying this so maybe try there.

So while you're sitting there at 11a fuming at having to watch a Big 10, SEC or the Kansas-Tech game instead, send a letter to Jamie Pollard demanding he NEVER EVER sign another LHN network deal again. It sounds like there are too many ISU alum/fans/donors outside Iowa (and Austin) wanting to see this game that have no way to.

And make sure you include a check to cover the lost revenue. That will help.

With this tv deal, lost revenue shouldn't be a concern. ******* off your fanbase isn't worth a few million a year. You don't see anyone but us north schools agreeing to that.

Yeah, because so many people are going to boycott Iowa State now. Take the money and run. A couple million dollars goes a LONG ways in the athletics department.

For the basketball game last season, someone on Bevo had a stream link. Probably wont be the best quality but anything is better than nothing.

I disagree to a point. Boycotting is rediculous, but there is a reason no south schools are agreeing to be on that stupid network. Sell out all you want. Selling out = me having to watch a ****** stream.

Not even the local Texas alumni group here in the Twin Cities can get it. It is the unobtainium of TV networks.

I don't think any of us out of staters are complaining, we are just trying to find a quality way to watch the game. So if there is a person out there willing to share access to one of us in AZ then a group of us could get together and and watch the game.

I followed a link over here from a Hookem 247 thread about Coach Rhoades and Stoops having words after the game and saw this thread...

Before Uverse picked up LHN we had to find it online. I think Justin TV was one. Also try First Row sports (FirstRow Live Football Stream | Watch Live Football Online | Live Soccer Stream)

But the best way is to find someone that uses ATT Uverse or Verizon as their cable provider. I was surpised how many people I knew that use Verizon. It's called Verizon "Fios" and they allow something like 8 "sub accounts" The account owner can set you up with a username and password where you can watch TV online but not see any of their account info. It takes like 5 minutes to set up. Since its an online feature, you can live in Arizona and the account owner can live in another state. Send a bulk email out or facebook and you may be surprised who uses Verizon.

LHN is HD and actually pretty impressive, even though most of our fan base still doesn't have access to it. Our first 2 games were on LHN and Uverse picked it up right before the season just in time to prevent Rome burning. People were so ******. But before Uverse added it people were buying those sub accounts at like $50 a pop, lol.

Don't know how helpful this is but thought I'd pass it along anyway. Hope anyone making the trip to Austin this weekend has a great time.

"A few million" ... you have some supporting links for that info?? Because I just had drinks with two employees of the Kansas Athetic Dept last Friday night and they laughed when I mentioned $3M - because KU was paid just under $500K for their KU-Texas game on LHN last October! I doubt JP was able to negotiate SIX TIMES more than KU was granted.

So $500K really starts to chap you if you're currently residing outside the state of Iowa, doesn't it??

Well, to be fair, that half Mil was paid to have a KANSAS football game televised. Bevonet's principles prevented them from filling that block with infomercials, which would have been more entertaining.

Wawawawhaaat?
I assumed since they said the state of "Iowa" that Omaha would not be included. I am alone with one of my kids for a few days so I can't go anywhere to watch it.

If you plan to watch the game on "www.firstrowsports.eu", you will have to have Firefox or Chrome as an internet browser. Internet Explorer will NOT work.
