I made the switch to ps3 about a yr ago.
I dont think you will regret it. Unless you are a halo fanboy you can get the same experience out of the ps3 ... plus you get a blu ray - I say make the switch.

I own both. If youre in it for gaming, XBox360 is still the way to go, especially with kinect (even without it). Plus the PS3 controller is godawful compared to the 360 controller (definitely feel it in your hands after any length of play)

Honestly, I have no idea what you're talking about here. I have never had "hand fatigue", and as far as the gaming, PS3 is superior in graphics. Oh well if we don't get halo, it sucks anyway. The new final fantasy game got busted for using gameplay footage from the PS3's superior graphics in a 360 commercial. It's true, look it up. I'm glad I waited for the PS3.

My roommate has a 360 too, so I know the difference.

You won't be regretting a switch to the PS3. There is no hand fatigue because of the controller. Online play is free like it should be. You get a blue ray player and Netflix works great on it.

I play 90% of my time online with buddies. I don't know a single person that owns a PS3. It was a pretty easy decision for me.

I never ever ever play online, love the blu-ray and Netflix and Pandora through the wireless, and my kids love the Move. PS3 was a great choice for me. It would have been much harder had the 360 had blu-ray capability. I do like being able to download demos for free from the PlayStation Network though. I assume you can do the same with the 360?

I've been a Playstation guy from the start. I got my PS2 because I didn't want to get rid of my PS games, and got a PS3 for the same reason (I got one of the old PS3's used to start with). I love the thing, the only time I've had trouble with it (the new one) is when it got dropped when I slipped on some ice on my way to the car. Not a big time online guy, but with the PSN being free, I can play anytime I feel like it. Plus the other entertainment options that it offers. Just an all-round good buy.
