For two years? I didn't forget but that game was the pinnacle of where we were at. Luckily the program turned it around hard.
For a year and 3 games.

2 years is a little dramatic. At that point in the season we had an easy win over UNI and a 1 score loss to a good Iowa team. For two years? I didn't forget but that game was the pinnacle of where we were at. Luckily the program turned it around hard.
We had the same problems as we did the past two seasons. Overly passive on offense, lots of mistakes on defense. I understand some of that is unavoidable but even Williams and Bloom were at the idk where this goes phase before we started winning with Rocco. Purdy's last season was underwhelming too which added to the anxiety. (Which is why I say two years)2 years is a little dramatic. The Ohio is to the offense what the Texas game was for the defense. Both caused Campbell and staff to change their approach to games. The offense has become more aggressive, remember last years opening play??? Also it's not complementary football to have a top defense in the conference but have a bottom 1/3 offense. Glad the offense has hit the gas.Yes after we got rolling but if you looked back from Ohio it was trending bad.
Preaching to the choir. This year will tell us a lot about what has changed with Campbell's philosophy. The Ohio is to the offense what the Texas game was for the defense.
