Hey Hawk troll, no one's forcing you to post here. Feel free to go back to your HawkeyeNation circlejerk any time soon and regale them with tales of how delusional we all are here.

Thank you for taking the words out of my mouth. I'm sure he'll be back. Maybe he can use another animated movie reference.

You guys don't understand. It's hilarious to me. Your delusion is at levels that I am unable to comprehend. It doesn't make any sense. It's brainwashing at its finest.

Think for yourselves! Paul Rhoads is pulling a blanket over your heads. I really don't care if I get banned. I guarantee you every single person outside of Cyclone Nation felt like what Paul Rhoads did at his press conference was simply ridiculous. Right now I'm not even talking about this being a Hawk vs Cyclone thing. A segment of your fanbase is completely freakin delusional. Paul Rhoads is a great coach lol? Really!? 7-6, 6-7, 6-7, 5-7, and 3-9 is what you consider a great coach? Holy cow guys Rhoads has the best coaching job in the world if he's considered a great coach by the vast majority of his fanbase with that kind of production.

Say whatever you want. I'm not here cuz I'm mad. I'm not here cuz I'm obsessed. I'm here because this is free entertainment. The fact you actually eat this crap up is hilarious. The only troll in this whole discussion is Rhoads and Pollard. They've been successfully trolling you minions for years, and it doesn't appear there is any end in sight.

Paul Rhoads goes 3-9, and decides to act like Vince McMahon after landing one big legacy recruit, and the Cyclone fanbase loves it. Meanwhile Danny Mac is down South leading North Texas to bowl wins, and probably reading about what's going on in Ames and wondering to himself what in the world is wrong with you people.

Lol seriously!? You guys are incredible! You just went 3-9! (1) Coach Rhoads has brought the program backwards in terms of wins and losses! (2) It is unbelievable to me how delusional some of you guys are! (3) Allen Lazard is a legacy recruit! Is he a good one? Absolutely. He's a very good wide receiver, but he was never going anywhere other than Iowa State. You act like Rhoads didn't have any advantage in his recruitment (4), and he chose ISU simply because of what direction he thinks things are heading. He chose Iowa State because that's where his parents went, and it's the team he grew up loving. Clearly winning football games wasn't his top priority.

Facilities, money, big scoreboards, closing in the endzones, and rallying the fanbase doesn't physically change anything on the football field. (5) Allen Lazard can't turn things around himself. Rhoads worst season was his 5th year. It's getting worse. (6) I think it's hilarious that you guys don't understand how ridiculous some of your comments are. It reminds me of the little green aliens in Toy Story who worship The Claw! The Claw is Paul Rhoads and Jamie Pollard and you guys are the aliens.

Pixar: Toy Story - movie clip - Little Green Men and the Claw! (Blu-Ray promo) - YouTube

1) You went 4-8 last year, you should really go look up what some of your hawk brethren we're saying last year.

2) All coaches and programs not named Alabama have down years dude. Once again, see your team's 2012 season.

3) Wow, pot meet kettle. Do you have any idea how many threads hawk fans have had along the lines of "National Title Hopes Still Alive" after a loss?!?!? lol, get over yourselves. I've heard an iowa fan compare iowa to Alabama and even say "Roll Hawks" before. You're fanbase says ridiculously stupid stuff all the time. Stop acting like just ISU fans do, we're probably WAY more realistic about our program overall than you guys are. We know we are not Texas or Oklahoma. I'm hard pressed to find ISU fans who think they are just as good as them. However I've heard plenty of hawks say they are equal to the big 10 elite Michigan, OSU, PSU, or a MSU...hilarious.

4) I think most ISU fans who follow recruiting understand we had an advantage. You think iowa has never had an advantage on a recruit but fans still acted the same way towards their hyped up guys? Come on bro...

5) This is so dumb I don't know how to respond...almost. Recruiting is the name of the game and ISU knows it will never compete with the big 12 elite, but if we don't have these things then we'd be doomed to see bowl game once in a blue moon instead of stealing recruit from the programs who are similar or equal to us. Have you ever met a recruit? Cuz I've met tons and I've never heard them say the fanbase, facilities, stadium upgrades, etc. doesn't matter. "I only care if the previous product on the field is winning football games" is not something they utter. Even places in the SEC like an Alabama couldn't recruit QUITE as well if they won on the field, but had crappy amenities and support. This statement is just as ignorant as they come. Good job!

6) Uh, no one expects Allen Lazard to come in and win the Heisman and take us to the big 12 championship freshman year, but if you don't think getting the best recruit in the state back to back years isn't heading in the right direction then you're not smart...One 3-9 season doesn't mean the program is in the crapper. Oh no! one year without a bowl game so we must fire CPR and scrap everything. Come ON dude, with your attitude programs like Iowa would have fired KF after 4-8 because OBVIOUSLY the next season can only get worse...no way can they win more games the next seasons, it's over man...

The irony is strong with this alcoholic hawk.

Since you like child programming references so much; this is what you and your fanbase of Illinois kids who didn't get into better schools and eastern iowa trailerparks look like:

You are equally hilarious by continuing to post long diatribes you think anyone actually reads. Dont you have a spelling test or book report to work on or did you get all your homework done in study hall?

Why have you not been banned yet? The only idiot is you. There were countless Iowa fans envious of Rhoads and where ISU was heading before this last season. Sure they had a bad season for for a couple reasons but your post is rediculous.

I do think Rhoads might have gone a bridge too far in that monologue; I agree with everything he said about Lazard and how he's a man of his word. It's absolutely commendable that he would stick with his commitment given how ISU's season played out and all the attention he was getting from more high-profile schools.

But taking shots at Iowa and Notre Dame was a little excessive, IMO. Especially when he's kept recruiting committed prospects (Campos) in the past. You can praise a kid for sticking to his word, but schools trying to poach the kid is just part of the business.

Great, another squawk with an opinion and a keyboard. Just what the world needs.

This may be the tipping point where the media learns it's not a winning business model to openly cheer against Iowa State. When it was a 80/20 split in ISU football's basement years it probably was a solid model to staff a media outlet with Hawk homers. No longer.

The guy signs with ISU, the media people are from local Iowa station, why do they undercut Lazard by asking the same old questions over and over? It only reflects local jeolousy by other in-state schools media leaners - looking at EIU connected media.

Because anything I said was false.

I'm not worked up about this at all. Do I think Rhoads would have been better off not saying what he said? Sure. But I'm hardly up in arms over it. It's not that big of a deal.

I didn't lose anything.
It was Rhoads choice to act like a child like he normally does. That's why I can't stand him. Just like I can't stand Fran at Iowa. Act like a friggin grown up instead of a big cry baby and actually win something.

When Rhoads gets called an embarrassment by an announcer in the middle of a nationally broadcast game then you can start comparing him to Frannie.
